Excerpt: When a 'celebrity' endorses a game a few alarm bells start ringing. Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure, as you might gather, is at least partially created by Marc Ecko, a man whose celebrity status is so great that I hadn't heard of him before this game was announced.
Excerpt: In Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure, players assume the role of Ã¢â‚¬ËœThaneÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ a young street-wise graffiti artist living in the city of New Radius, which is home to Mayor SungÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s big brother, nanny-state style of governing.
Excerpt: I''''m not a graffiti artist, but I do think this is the most authentic interactive experience to make you feel like one. You play as Trane, a kid looking for fame in the fictitious city of New Radius. Trane has to battle rival crews and the tyrannical police force known as the CCK.
Excerpt: As a game, it succeeds in more areas than I thought it would. Fighting is one key area I was surprised with. I came into it expecting some fighting, but I figured it would just be incredibly basic stuff. Instead, there’s a fair amount of depth to it.
Conclusion: Upon starting the game, I was greeted with some great opening cinema sequences and great art direction which gave me a fair amount of hope. Even playing through the first few levels kept my hopes up and my dreams alive with a nice mix of gameplay styles.
Excerpt: Getting Up is an awesome amazing game. You don''t get this kind of action anywhere else-in my opinion. It has a great storyline...like the facing off with these rich kids at the beginning of the game.
Summary: Grafitti blir i mange tilfeller sett på som en uttrykksform som tilhører kunsten. Da er det synd og se at det hele blir framstilt på en teit, overfladisk måte. Det er mulig at medlemmer av tagge- og grafittikulturen kanskje finner sider med dette spillet som ikke jeg gjør, men da blir det litt vel...

Conclusion: Getting Up: Contents under Pressure ist ein wirklich tolles und abwechslungsreiches Spiel. Die Präsentation kann genauso überzeugen wie die Grafik oder die Charaktere. Hinzu kommen ein gelungenes Leveldesign und viele unterschiedliche Aufgaben.
Conclusion: Estamos perante um jogo eclético e que raramente se torna repetitivo. Os objectivos aparecem sob a forma de indicadores luminosos, que nos indicam onde colocar graffitis, assinaturas a marcador, autocolantes, etc.
Pros: Linguagem e banda sonora perfeitamente adequadas
Cons: Tempos de espera entre missões um pouco longos, Problemas ocasionais com os controlos ou a câmara de jogo
