More bugs than MLB 2K5, but great fun!

Summary: I have owned both this World Series Edition game and the Original version on my X Box. I ended up selling my used copy of the former here at Amazon.com. I could see that this game took the place of my original purchase. This game is one of the best baseball videogames I've ever played! I'll say it again, ONE OF THE BEST! My brother came over to my house, and played this game with me after I had purchased it! I'm in my 40's and he's in his upper 30's!
Not as good as MVP but you'll have to get used to it

Summary: This games is miles BEHIND MVP 2005, but we'll have to get used to it because now 2k5 has the rights to MLB and MVP has given them up (or something like that, no more MVP MLB games will be made). When it was first released you would have had a reason to buy it (it was $30 cheaper) but now MVP and 2k5 are the same price meaning, skip this game and get MVP, but if you really care to know about this game I'll tell you (oh what a treat...
Summary: MLB 2k5 is a big disappointment. the faces are bad in this game, bad! triple play 2002 had better player faces than 2k5. game play also is worse than from 2k4. 2k4 was easy to play, and 2k5 they got very complicated. you have to use so many buttons and do so many things just to run the bases. on the upside, the crowd is awesome. the stadium music, the piano is awesome, and the graphics are amazing.
Summary: This game has so many glitches and flaws that it is dominated over by MVP Baseball 2005 so much, that it's not even funny. 2K5 has poor baserunning, hitting, fielding, throwing, and menu setup. The only good part is the highly accurate stadiums and rosters and the ESPN announcers that make it sound like a real baseball game. The graphics aren't even good! Other than that, the game lacks in so much that it cannot really be considered a great baseball game.
Summary: this game is the follow up to one of the best selling baseball games of 2004. its advertised well, but thats it. you get the game hoping to see all the previous years' errors fixed plus some new features. it has some of the greatest graphics i have seen in my life, but the gameplay lets u down.
Summary: First, I have to say that this game is very fun. The mechanics are great, and the pitching is flawless. I love the ESPN K-Zone pitching system. This was a great idea on the part of 2K sports. I also love the batting mechanics. I almost hit some homeruns. This is where the game begins to lack. First off, they say you can climb the wall to catch low homeruns, and sometimes you can.
Pretty good, but too many glitches and horrible stats

Summary: I purchased this game because of the amazing quality of the ESPN NFL 2K4 and 2K5 games that I own. I figured that the 2K5 Baseball title would live up to the "2K5" name. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a terrible game by any means. However, in the few days I've played I have already gotten sick of some of the glitches and mostly of the terrible stats. I've only played the game in Franchise mode, but pretty much all the player/pitcher stats are useless.
Summary: This game has the better gameplay between this an MVP, but they need to fix the glitches. Just having this for a day, I have already noticed in Franchise mode closing pitchers do not get recorded saves. This gets really REALLY annoying. Anyone else notice this? If the glitches are fixed with a patch like in the past this game will be the best.
