Conclusion: EA Overall, Madden NFL 07 on the Xbox is a great game of football that I highly recommend. It packs enough improvements to actually be worth the investment this year, unlike the mostly lackluster Madden 06, and stands as easily the best game of football you’ll find on the Xbox. If you have a choice between the Xbox or 360 version of Madden NFL 07, however, I would recommend the 360 version. Once you have seen and played the 360 version it is hard to go back to the Xbox.
Excerpt: “If its in the game, its in the game.” That slogan has been a part of Electronic Arts for quite awhile. It is their motto when it comes to describing the sports games they create. The Madden video game football franchise has been around for seventeen years. That is a long time for a video game franchise, especially a sports one. This video game franchise is generally considered to be the king of the football video games. EA Sports has not sat on their laurels though.
Excerpt: Another year goes by and another release of Madden for consoles around the world. Each year EA tries to add enough to the title to entice people back for another match, this year is no exception with the requisite tweaks to call it an evolution to the title. But let's take a look at how it measures out.
Excerpt: Another day, another down. Yet another reason video game football is better than the real thing: In reality, Terrell Owens isn’t playing for the Cowboys, he’s just playing them. Today in an online game of Madden NFL 07 , though, he caught three beautiful touchdown passes from Bledsoe, making my opponent look like a punk instead of acting like one himself. I rest my case, and move to open one for Madden NFL 07 .
Pros: More content, Good gameplay, Lead blocking is cool, Superstar mode is not, Still missing content from current-gen versions, Sloppy and glitchy
