Summary: My son had this game lent to him. He was thrilled with it. After having sole possesion of it for six months his cousin asked for it back. My son was heart broken. I gave it to him just before a vacation this summer. He didn't want to go away after that. Poor timing but to see his face light up! He plays after school for one hour before homework time. Loves this game.
Conclusion: It took me quite awhile to like and get used to playing the game. One of the major obstacles to overcome was the lack of camera control. After playing both KOTORs, Republic Commando, etc., and then jumping into this, my expectations were a little high. Adjusting from those games to this took some time, but once I did, I have enjoyed playing it ever since! My 7 yr old is a huge fan of the game and plays it every chance he gets!
Conclusion: I have to admit that Lego Star Wars is a game that I truely love to play. It is a game that all SW fans can come to enjoy because you get to weild the almighty lightsaber, and use certain aspects of the force. For a game with Lego stamped on it, Lego Star Wars has pretty decent sound fx, graphics, and gameplay. Being a game I can primarily see as a childs game, this game also has challenges in it constructed well enough to confuse and adult.
