Kung Fu Chaos Reader Review - 7.6

Joel Holmstrom, IGN Entertainment
27 August 2007
  • Conclusion: Kung Fu Chaos is a game about a movie directed by Shao Ting where you have to master each scene, getting three stars or more until you come to the final stage of the film. The Graphics of Kung Fu Chaos are rather good, with fun, cartoony and quirky looking characters which add to the fun of the game. The environments and film sets are pretty well done and detailed with a lot of destructive objects and little things that really give you the sense of being on a film set.

Kung Fu Chaos Reader Review - 7.2

  • Conclusion: Alright so this is as close to smash brothers as your going to get on xbox. Only smash brothers is a ton better. Anyways you go threw a level continuously just keeping up with the moving level you just gotta kill everythin the you dont need to walk anywhere much the level carries you. The humour in this is awesome while it lasts because it gets repetitve after a while but its very funny.

Full of chop-socky goodness...

  • Summary: If you've ever played the Powerstone series on the Dreamcast, you'll instantly feel right at home with Kung Fu Chaos. Visually similar to the Dreamcast classic, it's a 'dodgy seventies kung-fu movie' take on the isometric beat-em-up. Essentially the game takes the form of a Kung-Fu movie production, and for most part you will find yourself taking directions from the cheeky chappy in charge of the movie - Shao Ting.

  • Summary: I love this game! its not really much fun on your own but get a few buddys/relatives around to play and its fantastic(i get beaten on the game by both my 4 year old son and 6 year old nephew!). The game has lots of great comedy touches and is easy to learn to play,it also has a good tutorial level to teach you all the moves. There are plenty of great characters (monkey is the best!) and loads of levels and features to unlock!

Wooooooo......

  • Summary: Fantastic. This is not a serious game by any means, as you have already probably guessed by now. This is a party game and I would recommend that you bring a few mates over for a good ruck. If you want some light, no-brain good fun, this is the game for you. The moves are rather limited, but there is enough variation in the scenes and gameplay enable it to endure. If you buy this game, I'm sure it will be a regular in your Xbox for some time to come.

Kung Fu Cool

  • Summary: My favorite games are Mech Assault and Ghost Recon, so when I received this from a family member I was a bit sceptical.... But I was pleasantly surprised. This game is cool... The garphics suit the game's style in a cartoon quality that looks good. Playing with a partner is a blast with loads of giggles in the Battle mode. The most surpising aspect is the single player mode, its fast and furious with a lot of comical features, the gameplay keeps me going back for more.

  • Summary: This game, right from the funny, if a little cheesy, opening credits is a comic genius :) The main story line of the one player is this crazy guy wants to make a film and u have to help him by 'acting' out his fight scences, which basically means kick the c**p outta anything that zaps into the play area.

Great multiplayer fun!

amazon.co.uk
12 April 2003
  • Summary: This has got to be one of the most fun multiplyer games on the xbox. The variety of the levels coupled with fantastic graphics and some quirky humour make it a real blast (especially in 4 player). The game plays in a similar way to Powerstone on the dreamcast (which was probably the best multiplayer game I've played). Basically you just attack each other whilst moving through the levels and avoiding hazards such as dinosaurs, flying ninjas and spikes.
