Just Cause Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: I really wanted to like Just Cause , but its many flaws and shortcomings did it in. It’s one of those situations where I felt the potential wasn’t close to being met—what looked like it was going to be a big sandbox of exciting jungle warfare quickly revealed itself as a fairly small rubber stamp.

Karaoke Revolution Party Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: As far as Xbox party games go, Karaoke Revolution Party is hard to beat. The inclusion of duets is the real strong point, although there aren’t nearly enough duet-friendly songs. Knock Out adds a stronger level of competition than what was found in the original. The “Sing and Dance” mode is disappointing due to the complexity in coordination. Overall, there is much more depth that’ll carry KRP into the wee hours of the night at any party.

Video Game talk
18 February 2006
  • Excerpt: While I'm not tone deaf, I know the limitations of my voice and won't be making a fool of myself on the "American Idol" audition shows anytime soon. However, that doesn't mean that I can't embarass myself trying to belt out tunes in the comfort of my own living room. "Karaoke Revolution Party" is the latest release allowing players to sing - and, if you have the Dance Dance Revolution pad (sold separately), dance - at home.

Game Over Online

  • Excerpt: Revolution Party essentially operates on the principle of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, with the basic mechanics of the game not having changed at all from the original title. Players sing along with the lyrics that scroll along at the bottom of the screen. The note tubes above each lyric indicate how long you sing a particular note, with longer tubes for held notes.

Karaoke Revolution Party

Game Over Online
6 December 2005
  • Excerpt: First came the Karaoke bar, where people could pretend that they were singing sensations while getting their drink on at the same time. Then came the Revolution, where aspiring pop stars could hone their skills at home. Next were the duets, where two players could try their luck at singing melodies together. So what exactly is the latest step in the Karaoke Revolution franchise?

Karaoke Revolution Party

Game-Focus
2 March 2014
