Summary: For anyone who has only tried the Singstar karaoke games for PS2, if you really enjoy singing and doing karaoke, you have GOT to try the Karaoke Revolution games... so many more options for playing and much easier to follow the lyrics and try to stay in tune... In my opinion, ALL of the Karaoke Revolution games are a BLAST!!
Summary: I bought this for Christmas 04. 2 years plus later, we're still playing. For a family of 7, the game is wonderful! The kids play each other, and play as a family at least every week. This is how we unwind from the busy week and get family time. Movies are good but Karaoke is better. At first the songs can be difficult to get used to to, but even our 8 year old is an accomplished singer now. This would be a DEFINATE FAMILY FUN GAME.
Summary: Got the game, connected the microphone, and was having a blast in less than 3 minutes. You pick a complex or simple song, choose plain karaoke, or get graded by the crowd or your friends. Connect to Xbox Live for more songs. Sure it'll cost you, but isn't singing "Jessie's Girl" to an adoring crowd worth it? There is no mystery to this game, just flat out karaoke fun.
Summary: This is a fun game even if you can't sing. And I think it can help your singing as you get into it. The game is similar to the dance revolution game. On the bottom of the screen there will be the words you need to sing and a visual guide with an arrow pointing up or down to let you know that you're flat or sharp. If you're just right, you get the crowd excited and cheering. It's a great party game. My only complaint is that there aren't enough songs on it.
Needs more songs, but you can download if online w/XBOX Live

Summary: **Update Sept 1st 05** - I've had this game for 9 months and Konami STILL has not offered any new song downloads with the exception of the ones that were offered when the game was released on XBOX Live. This is absurd. Why no new downloads? This changes my entire opinion of the game so put that 5 star away, because it' really now only a 3. With no new songs to download, this takes away any new replay value this game could have had. Major bummer Konami.
Summary: Love it! Its for every person who loves to sing, but won't get up in public. I received it as a Christmas gift, and its great you can have the fun of performing in front of a crowd without ever leaving the house. My family came for Christmas and they wouldn't sing at first, when they realized how fun it was we played for 2 hours. My nieces 13, 11, 9 went out the next week and bought it for PS2 and fight over the mike.
Summary: I found that this is a great game. Not only is it fun to play alone, but it's great for parties. You can change the levels, from easier to harder, depending on how you sing. It shows how off your pitch is, which is a great feature! I think that this is great for people who love to sing, even if you're not good at singing!
Summary: Had the chance to play this with different groups at holiday parties...from ages 6 to 75...this game was a huge hit... The limitation of having only 50 songs is the only drawback. Hours of hilariousness were had. It brought people out of their shells...some friends who would never be expected to sing at a party took to it like fish in water. This was the definite hit of the holidays with young, old, hip, square etc.
