JSRFreak, IGN Entertainment
14 September 2004
  • Conclusion: I got this game with my xbox.It is the best game I have ever had!I play it every day though I have won it three times already. This game will really suck you in to it.One thing I really like about this game is the sound track.I like every song on it, everything from the base kickn' sounds of humming the baseline to the erie tecno pop sounds of count latchula (my favorite song) Speaking of the latch brothers, I am very glad that this game introduced me too them. Not only do...

Get set for Jet Set Radio Future

  • Summary: Set later than Jet set radio on Dreamcast, and now pc,ps3,xbox360,vita and mobile devices, but this game stayed exclusive to the Xbox.. This was an easier version compared to the dreamcast version, you can graffiti with one push and grinding connects better, where this may seem like a negative, it makes the game faster pace, also with some stunning very large locations and the ability to grind up poles, makes this a very fun game..

  • Summary: Really, it's awesome. The graphics and the music are superb, even for such an old game. The story is admittedly a bit weak but the gameplay and music more than make up for it. Really fun game.

Edgy cool quirky classic

Black Glove "Symphonic Longfingers", amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: SEGA's "Jet Set Radio Future" is one of my favourite games from yesteryear. The vivid cel-shaded graphics are (even now) a treat to behold. The big Tokyo-based environments are brilliantly depicted - from the crowded urban streets to the tangled industrial wastelands to the underground sectors to the neon night streets - this is smartly designed and perfectly realized.

An inline skating gang which grind around the futuristic Tokyo of 2024

emmabrandwood, Dooyoo

  • Excerpt: Jet Set Radio Future is the sequel to the beloved DC game, Jet Grind Radio. As part of the GG's, an inline skating gang, you grind around the futuristic Tokyo of 2024, tagging specific areas of the city. The original title featured some impressive graphics and started the cel-shaded game craze. It offered fast gameplay, an incredible soundtrack, and plenty of attitude. After spending twenty hours with this game, I can firmly say that JSRF carries on the tradition.

  • Summary: This game is pure magic! I completed the game last night. It took me just over 43 hours. However, I intend to go back to it to re-spray all the areas, and hopefully collect more graffiti souls. The game is just so much fun! The characters, music, graphics just rock! I can't recommend it highly enough.

5 pointed gem of a game

Andy Miller, amazon.co.uk
30 January 2003
  • Summary: I'd never heard of JSRF. Instructions to feeder/carer were kept simple. XBOX + Project Gotham Racing for christmas please. Intending to have PGR permanently installed for months, I though it wise to at least try the bundled games first and chose JSRF to start... I'm still looking forward to taking the cellophane off PGR. JSRF opens with a cool techno track thumping out over a rolling sequence depicted in odd, 2d-cartoon figures in a 3d setting of downtown tokyo.
