Summary: Indycar 2005 definitely has its flaws, but this is one racing game you can't simply start off and win races without a little forethought and planning. Each oval course has it's own individual design differences and you start out test driving your car on the track to find out where you lose speed, oversteer or understeer through the turns, etc. while trying to clock your fastest lap possible.
Summary: Of all the racing games I own for xbox, this is one of the worst. The graphics are chopping and not realistic looking. The cars don't handle smoothly and really don't convey a sense of realism. The accidents are very tame by racing standards. (not much damage shown). My favorite is when you pit and they need to do extensive work on the car. It looks like one of members of the pit crew is performing a "massage" on the brake cylinder. LOL.
Summary: First off this is Teresas' son Chris. This game is just horrible. The graphics are terrible. Unfortantly nothing eles the game as to offer is any better. I have F1 2001 and it is a far better game then this. Even if you are and IRL fan whcih I am not you won't like this game. I mean how can you make a good game that is based apon the worst racing series in the world. If you wanna go make lefts all day buy a NASCAR game and skip the road races.
Summary: One of the best racing games ever. You literally feel your car as it shudders in and out of turns. Hitting the brakes causes smoke to come bursting out and streaks the pavement with rubber. The game makes you realize how dangerous the sport is-- I mean simply overtaking the guy in front of you is a harrowing experience. Sim-wise you have control of gears, throttle, wheel, weight jacker and burn-setting.
Summary: Right - first off the bat, let me say this. If you feel ill at the mere mention of racing on an oval, this game probably will do very little to change your mind. IndyCar Series 2005 is fantastic at what it simulates, but if you don't like the subject matter, I wouldn't pin your hopes on it enlightening you. Then again, possibly it might. You see, ICS 2005 is a draining, thrilling and intense experience. Yes - the only time you turn right will be exiting the pit lane.
