List All 3 PricesWhen I first heard of Wrath Unleashed I was intensely interested. Being a huge fan of strategy games as well as fighting games I felt that The Collective and LucasArts had a flawless idea. While I enjoyed many aspects of the game I feel that most gamers will notice the holes rather quickly. With the single player experience being rather lean and no Xbox Live support, a large majority of gamers will instantly be turned off. Read more
If you've ever driven an actual IndyCar, this game was made for you. But for the rest of us regular schmoes, the learning curve may be just a little too steep. Read more
If the racing felt like you were doing a little more than just putting pedal to the metal and tapping the direction to turn in to the banked corners, then IndyCar Series 2005 would be a must-have racing title. Sadly though it falls short in a few areas, and fans of racing games will almost certainly find that ToCA Race Driver 2 is a more fulfilling title. Read more
The racing genre on the Xbox is becoming a very crowded field recently. Not only has it been crowded, but the titles that have arrived on the scene of late have been garnering quite a bit of gamers attention and time. Titles such as “Project Gotham Racing 2”, “Sega GT Online”, “TOCA: Race Driver 2”, the “Colin McRae” series, and last years “IndyCar” Series all have fan followings and some even have cult-like followings.
It takes a special kind of person to be an IndyCar fan. Formula One, in my opinion, is dull. IndyCar is essentially Formula One without any hairpins, chicanes or right-hand turns. Ok, so there isn’t the predictability of the F1 season and the cars sure do zip along at a faster rate for a longer amount of time, but essentially, the sport involves driving a car around an ellipse as quickly as you can. As just about every video game publication will tell you, the racing game has become one of the most saturated genres since the dawn of the 3D gaming age. We've seen a truckload of F1 sims, Ridge Racers and Gran Turismo clones pass us by since the mid-90's and on into the early noughties, but one racing sport that is rarely given a second look - in Europe at least - is IndyCar racing. Finally there is a game for all of those fans who love to race cars in a circle, watch tire damage, and endure 50 laps of a remedial race course, and if you can imagine it's not even NASCAR. It's IndyCar Series 2005. And it's here to um, well, bore. The level of realism in this car game will most likely turn off most gamers and appeal to only a rare niche of the gaming market. Read more
IndyCar Racing 2005 is one of the best budget titles I have played in quite sometime. The game offers plenty of game modes, including Live support, solid simulation style gameplay, and average graphics, you have an impressive game when it comes to IndyCar Series 2005 one that is definitely worth every dollar. Rating IndyCar Series is quite simple, at the end of the day. If you’re a fan of the series and have been waiting in anticipation for your chance to get out on circuit and test your mettle against the best the discipline has to offer, the flaws that exist in IndyCar Series 2005 will be noticeable but will be acceptable. While the collision physics may be a little weird, the core game is very good. Graphics and sounds are solid and the controls are phenomenal. Read more or see product
One of the best racing games ever. You literally feel your car as it shudders in and out of turns. Hitting the brakes causes smoke to come bursting out and streaks the pavement with rubber. The game makes you realize how dangerous the sport is-- I mean simply overtaking the guy in front of you is a harrowing experience. Sim-wise you have control of gears, throttle, wheel, weight jacker and burn-setting. Read more
