Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb for Xbox
6 December 2012
Summary: Indiana Jones and The Emperor's Tomb for the Xbox is a thrilling game that recaptures the excitement of an Indiana Jones film. The storyline is a Chinese Warlord has hired Indiana Jones to find the Heart of the Dragon. A mystical ancient artifact that will help him gain control of all China and perhaps the world. Unfortunately for him, he hired Indiana Jones and his trusty bullwhip. The gameplay is like the controls in Tomb Raider.
Pros: Indiana Jones, Graphics, Music, Dialog and Sound Effects
Conclusion: I recieve the Official Xbox Magazine and when I read that Indiana Jones got an overall score of 9.0 I was very dissappointed. This is the best game I have ever played and I wish that it would have gotten a 9.4 or 9.5. It is that good of a game. The gameplay was well designed and laid out. The graphics are quite good as well easily being able to tell resemblence between the real Harrison Ford and Indiana.
Summary: The game is much the same as was enjoyed on a PC. As it was an Xbox game which we wanted to play on an Xbox 360 we had our doubts that it would run. It didn't. But we got a DVD from Microsoft which altered something in our Xbox 360 so that it runs old Xbox games whilst not affecting our Xbox 360 games. You just pop the dvd in, it doesn't ask any difficult questions like when you do similar things on a PC and a few seconds later you are ready to roll. Easy.
Summary: A very addictive game, you forget how long you are on. It's all my brother and me have been playing for 2 week You will want to keep playing till you complete it, but you won't, it's MASSIVE! Really good is all I can say.
Summary: Absolutely Excellent!! I am so happy with this game that I suggest that everyone who enjoys the films should go out and buy a copy, Today! You really feal a part of the story and the designers have hit every nail on the head. The way the character moves, talks, fights and whips is exactly as it is in the films. The environments are very well thought out and can be very real. I am about half way through and am enjoying every minute.
Excerpt: For those of you who love the Indiana Jones trilogy, this is the game for you, as it compliments the films really well. There is so much to talk about this game, as it is one of my favourites on the Xbox so far. The basic plot of the game is that Indy is set a task to find the artifact - Heart Of The Dragon, before anyone else does, as whoever has it, becomes the most powerful sole alive, blah de blah de blah... you get the gist of it.
Summary: Being a big fan of The Collective's previous Xbox title Buffy The Vampire Slayer, I was very pleased to hear they were tackling another world saving hero for their latest game. Indiana Jones & The Emperor's Tomb is the title, and as far as I'm concerned the game doesn't disappoint! Using basically the same engine as for Buffy, the combat scenes are very well played out and mixed with a very challenging array of puzzles and whip swinging action!
Summary: I bought this game knowing nothing about it, but being a huge fan of the Indiana Jones films. I have played a lot of movie spin-off games and nearly all are weak, so you think I would have learned my lesson! However, Emperor's Tomb is brilliantly thought out and feels exactly like the films. It's easy to get into, especially if you've played any Tomb Raider, but adds that special Indy touch.
