Indiana Jones: Emperor's Tomb Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: I hope after reading the review thus far you can tell that I absolutely loved this game. I may be biased because of my devoted love for the Indiana Jones’s films, but if I put all of those feelings aside, this is still one hell of a game. LucasArts did a fine job making the closest thing to a replication of all the movies thrown into a video game.

Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb

Game Over Online
3 November 2004
  • Excerpt: (cue Indiana Jones theme song) I didn’t quite know what to expect heading into Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb. LucasArts has a hit-and-miss history when it comes to converting their mega franchises from the silver screen to the small screen. Indiana Jones is no different. From Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis to Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, the rugged archaeologist has had his ups and downs.

Expert Review

25 March 2003
  • Excerpt: Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb is not the first Indiana Jones game, but it is probably the first to stand out as a decent homage to the original and often imitated grave-robbing swashbuckler.

Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb

Gamecell
3 September 2004
  • Conclusion: Good but not great, The Emperor's Tomb will provide some real entertainment but lacks the polished gameplay that would make it a 'must buy'.
  • Pros: The fights are cool., Some spectacular levels., Use Indy's whip!
  • Cons: Another game blighted by a poor camera., You can't backtrack through levels., Indy moves like he's been sped up.

  • Pros: Herrlicher Sound, Original Dr. Jones Stimme, Gelungenes Ambiente
  • Cons: Mühsames Speichersystem, Ärgerliche Grafikfehler
