Summary: This Game Should Be Called The Hunted. The First Level Is Easy Then You Get Savaged By Lots And Lot Of Zombies I found it hard to take them all on at one time So I Ended Dead And Had To Start Again At Least You Dont Go Back To The Start Like Some Other Games
Summary: This game when i first picked it up a few years ago rocked, it was intense, very dark and rock hard on nightmare mode .... it was a dream come true and unfortunatley is addictive ... you try to get out but they just keep pulling you back in muwhahaha. The game itself has a fantastic and new story, the graphics even now are still really good and the game play is fast and non stop..
Excerpt: "I've had this game for a good while now, but i thought i should get round to voicing my opinion on it and let (warn) other people know about it. This is hunter the reckoning. A game where you are essentially stuck in a zombie infested town and must fight your way through hordes upon hordes of zombifyed enemies. Should be fun, but it's a let down in many departments. I'll start with the positive things: It has 4 player co-op play. Something ...
Pros: 4player co - op play
Cons: Boring, repetitive, weak gameplay, no innovations .
Summary: Really didn't get the recognition it should of this title. I bought it on here because I saw some screen shots, loads of weapons, fighting and gore. This game appeared, at first, to be a quite thoughtful and tactful kind of game. But once you got past level one you realise this games intention....... Point your weapon at all things un-dead and lay rounds into it until is nothing more.
Excerpt: "...the White Wolf Roleplaying game, Hunter: The Reckoning is another game set in the worldof darkness. The World of Darkness(tm) is a scary place, and if you've played this game you'll know that hell really does have legions of monsters to throw at you. You'll also know that not so many of them are clever and even fewer can withstand a few well placed shots or slashes. In later stages the characters really become distinct, each excelling at their ...
Pros: No Dice ! ! No Dice ! !
Cons: It doesn't allow the player much scope into the world of darkness .
Summary: Unpretentious, underrated - my current favourite Xbox game (and I've just finished 'Halo' - am I the only person who thinks there's too much backtracking and too little variation in that game?). From the moment the little girl's zombie teddy killed her dad I was up for some serious undead culling. If I wanted a convincing storyline, I'd read Tolstoy.
Summary: What an excellent game. Great fun, lots of gore and you'll keep going back to it. It's one of the best multiplayer games for the xbox without a doubt. I'd heard that it was too short but it will definitely take you a while to complete. It's not too difficult but you wont breeze through it either. I can't say I've tired of constantly shooting at loads of monsters and zombies yet, and there are a lot to shoot. Worthy of anyone's collection.
Summary: Visually, this game is excellent, and it provides some mindless entertainment for the first hour or so. Then you realise that's it. Wave after wave after wave of zombies, shoot-kill-reload. ZZZZZZzzzz. It's a pity that the Role-Playing elements of the license haven't been utilised much, if at all - they would have leant some much needed depth and replayability to a shallow game.
Summary: I am working my way through this game and i am finding it really enjoyable. But the game is too damn difficult. If you like a challenge then by all means get this game. If you are the kind of person that breaks down and cries when you cannot beat a boss monster then this game is not for you. The graphics and storyline are excellent but multiplayer is shabby. 1 player mode is great fun but really hard.
Summary: Great fun. Slash your way through thousands of baddies over 27 levels. Just finished the game and killed over 3500 of 'em (wrist hurts now!). Great graphics, nice controller set up. Thoroughly enjoyed the game and would recommed it if you liked Halo and Max Payne. Sounds great on a 5.1 system. Looking forward to getting mates around to have a go at multi-player.
