  • Conclusion: The only problems here come with some lack of polish that is present in enemy AI and control. While both remain strong for the majority of the game don't be surprised when an enemy miraculously spots you or completely ignores you. The gameplay is solid, the graphics are beautiful, and the audio is immersive. Check this game out now!

Hitman: Blood Money

The Armchair Empire

  • Conclusion: stealthy. The easiest difficulty level turns the Notoriety rating off, so you can still play levels as you please without having to worry about consequences in the next. The problem is, figuring out how to execute the stealthier kills is astoundingly difficult, and practically impossible without a guide. You’re given some pieces of intel, which can be purchased for a small fee, but they’re only vague guides.

Game Over Online
6 July 2006
  • Excerpt: Hitman opens up with a gimmie stage that holds your hand and tells you exactly what to do and when to do it. It shows you the ropes and most of the game's mechanics, then sends you on your way. From that point on, you're on your own. This is where the open-ended gameplay comes in. Hitman throws you into the deep end, and you do have a number of pointers, mostly in the form of intel that you can purchase or things that you overhear, but you'll do most of the exploration...

Hitman: Blood Money Review

VideoGamer.com
4 July 2006
  • Excerpt: On the surface Hitman: Blood Money is unquestionably an action game. It features Agent 47 - a hard as nails bald lead character - an assortment of deadly weapons and an excessive amount of blood. If played on one of the lowest difficulty settings this action game façade can hold steady throughout the entire game, with brute force and plenty of spent ammo being pretty much all you need to progress from mission to mission.

Hitman: Blood Money Review

GameSpot
30 May 2006
  • Excerpt: The bald-headed contract killer known only as 47 is in good form, primed and ready for more work in the latest installment in the dark, stylish Hitman series. Though very similar to the last two games in the series, the open-ended stealth action gameplay offered by Hitman: Blood Money is still just about as tensely exciting as ever.
  • Pros: Open-ended stealth action gameplay lets you sneak or run and gun, Beautifully crafted mission set pieces seem appropriately big and complex, Large variety of realistic weapons, but they're not the only way to do the job, Good replay value for a single-player-only game
  • Cons: Non-player characters sometimes behave unrealistically, especially in combat, Many of the series' minor cosmetic problems haven't been fixed, New notoriety system feels half-baked

Hitman: Blood Money

GameRadio.de
28 April 2007
  • Pros: großartige Story, abwechslungs-reiche Missionen, Unfall-Feature, stimmungsvolle Musikuntermalung
  • Cons: nur fünf Waffen für Upgrades, Textbausteine in Zeitungsartikeln

Hitman: Blood Money

GameCaptain
3 June 2006
  • Conclusion: Der Hitman hatte im dritten Teil etwas nachgelassen, ist jetzt aber wieder in alter Frische on the Scene.
