Best Baseball Game Ever

jong chung, Amazon
11 April 2004
  • Summary: Thanks to the real Big Shot (Potomac Cannons), this game is great. I've seen the Big Shot's baseball game since 1994, and I'm gonna play this game in 2004, ten years from when I've seen the real baseball game.

Almost Great

Biff Fearless "World Reknowned Adventurer", Amazon

  • Summary: I've been playing baseball games on computers and consoles for a long time. I date myself here by saying that I started with Microleague Baseball on the Atari 800XL. I still regard that as my favorite experience in the baseball genre. I recently purchased an X-Box and when I buy a new console I always buy my gaming staples. A baseball game is always one of my first priorities. There are a lot of choices out there.

good and bad stuff about game--- mostly good

nathan, Amazon
18 July 2003
  • Summary: Hh 2004 was a pretty good game and probably the best one out there considering that ive only played this game and triple play 2002....but i think its still the best game after reading reviews. The cons{bad stuff} about the game are the announcing not verry good.....They will say something like "the batter homered his last at bad" when he really struck out....but that doesnt happen too often. Also, they sometimes say things twice.

High Heat v.s. MVP

"neil73545", Amazon
13 July 2003
  • Summary: High Heat Baseball is one of the most in depth baseball simulators ever created. The ammount of statistics is overwhelming. The minor leqague farm system is well incorperated in this game as well. However the actual player and team names are not used. It is a great representation of the actual game.

It's ok

game hunter "rangerfan142", Amazon
27 March 2003
  • Summary: This is not the best baseball game to come out for this year. I am a little disappointed though at some points in the game. How do you control the pitch, its hard. And when you try to get a relay or throw from third base to first or second to home, it takes a bit longer than it seems like it should. The graphice are pretty good except all the players faces look the same. This is a pretty good game though. I would consider another game but its your choice.

For real baseball fans

E. Duran, Amazon
25 March 2003
  • Summary: True, graphics and sound are not the best; but if you are a real baseball fan, this is the game to buy. Some tuning is required for a more realistic experience; once you're done with the fine twicking, the game play is fantastic. Buy it.

GREAT GRAPHICS BAD SOUND

Jesse T. Johnson, Amazon
22 March 2003
  • Summary: THIS GAME WAS A HIT WITH THE GAMEPLAY. THE GRAPHICS WERE SMOOTH AND VERY ENJOYABLE. THE AUDIO NEEDS A LOT OF WORK THOUGH. IT WAS THE SAME SOUND NO MATTER WHAT THE CROWD SIZE WAS. HOMERUNS PRODUCED A SLIGHT LUL. IF YOU DON'T BUY WORLD SERIES 2K3 THEN THIS IS THE NEXT BEST THING. I GOT IT DUE TO ROSTER DOWNLOADS AND IT NEEDS IT BECAUSE NO MATSUI FOR NY.
