For real baseball fans

E. Duran, Amazon
4 June 2003
  • Summary: True, graphics and sound are not the best; but if you are a real baseball fan, this is the game to buy. Some tuning is required for a more realistic experience; once you're done with the fine twicking, the game play is fantastic. Buy it.

The ones who don't like this game are not real baseball fans

Alan Chan, Amazon
1 June 2003
  • Summary: This game totally captures the authentic feel of a real baseball game. The strategy that goes into pitching and batting is totally realistic. Real life strategies for setting up a batter with different pitches applies in this game, and they're actually required.

Almost Great

Biff Fearless, Amazon
30 May 2003
  • Summary: I've been playing baseball games on computers and consoles for a long time. I date myself here by saying that I started with Microleague Baseball on the Atari 800XL. I still regard that as my favorite experience in the baseball genre.

It's ok

game hunter, Amazon
29 May 2003
  • Summary: This is not the best baseball game to come out for this year. I am a little disappointed though at some points in the game. How do you control the pitch, its hard. And when you try to get a relay or throw from third base to first or second to home, it takes a bit longer than it seems like it should.

Pick Another Game

Amazon
27 May 2003
  • Summary: The game is full of problems..players walk through players, choppy gameplay, repetitive announcers, and boring gameplay. Another problem is when your the batter, you have no control of your batter.

GREAT GRAPHICS BAD SOUND

Jesse T. Johnson, Amazon
27 May 2003
  • Summary: THIS GAME WAS A HIT WITH THE GAMEPLAY. THE GRAPHICS WERE SMOOTH AND VERY ENJOYABLE. THE AUDIO NEEDS A LOT OF WORK THOUGH. IT WAS THE SAME SOUND NO MATTER WHAT THE CROWD SIZE WAS. HOMERUNS PRODUCED A SLIGHT LUL. IF YOU DON'T BUY WORLD SERIES 2K3 THEN THIS IS THE NEXT BEST THING.

Not worth the wait

Amazon
26 May 2003
  • Summary: I was truly disapointed with this game. I expected to be blown away by the game play and the graphics, only to be let down. Its not a bad game, but I just wasn't impressed. The pitching is super slow, even when sped up.
