Summary: It's a pretty fun game. Creepy but fun. The reason I wouldn't reccomend this game for a friend is because i have no friends that would like it. To bad they don't have this game in stores anymore. You might have to go on amazon to get this. The graphics are great for its time. The sound is great for its time as well. The enemies are fun to fight. Some of them are hard but thats what keeps it interesting. The story is good.
Summary: Ive never played this game on the xbox i have it on steam but im pretty sure there is int much difference between the two this games story will have addicted from the start even though it starts kinda slow but the amount of interactivity is amazing there are so much things you can pick up and throw around even games these days have nowhere near the interactivity that this has the graphics are very pretty to look at you must get this game its AMAZING
Summary: This game engulfs you with the story and characterisation for a powerful gaming experience. The physics system is more complete than many physics system of today, you feel powerful. There is a realistic approch to a totalitarian alien government take over showing unique depth. there is good pacing and you actually have to think with the puzzles, making it much better than a mindless shooter.
Summary: Half-Life 2 was released on the XBOX in 2005 and was an immediate hit. Featuring graphics that look good even today, controls that fit the XBOX like a glove, gameplay that is fast and fun, and a story that never lets up or slows down the game. Every button is naturally selected and easy to remember keeping you from thinking what button to press when the action starts and start it does.
Conclusion: This is really an amazing game. Nobody thought it could be done. How was one of the most technically advanced games for PC supposed to be ported to the x-box successfully? Well, I still don't know how they did it, but they did. And the results are amazing. This is the best shooter on X-box. Yes, it's better than Halo 2. The single player mode is so immersive, you feel like you ARE Gordon Freemen. The entire game is in First-person. Cut-scenes, everything.
FPS doesn't come much better than this. In fact, it doesn't.

Excerpt: When I first got into the Half Life series, I did do it in a rather a bizarre order. You see I've never played Half Life, but the sequel generated so much hype I found myself inevitably drawn to it. Although this did put me in somewhat of an awkward position, as I had no idea what was going on, a quick bit of wikipedia research brought up me to speed and I was finally able to fully enjoy what is probably one of the greatest gaming achievements of the decade.
Essential for any gamer's collection. Turned me into a FPS fan!

He's just struggled through the Black Mesa incident - the scientific experiment he was involved in that went terribly wrong and ripped a hole into an alien world, leading to a battle between an alien force and a militant organisation, with Freeman caught in the crossfire. Of course, he survived that. He had you to help him, after all. But the whole adventure ended on a bad note for him. He was placed in stasis, frozen in time.
