Summary: It's a pretty fun game. Creepy but fun. The reason I wouldn't reccomend this game for a friend is because i have no friends that would like it. To bad they don't have this game in stores anymore. You might have to go on amazon to get this. The graphics are great for its time. The sound is great for its time as well. The enemies are fun to fight. Some of them are hard but thats what keeps it interesting. The story is good.
Summary: Ive never played this game on the xbox i have it on steam but im pretty sure there is int much difference between the two this games story will have addicted from the start even though it starts kinda slow but the amount of interactivity is amazing there are so much things you can pick up and throw around even games these days have nowhere near the interactivity that this has the graphics are very pretty to look at you must get this game its AMAZING
Summary: This game engulfs you with the story and characterisation for a powerful gaming experience. The physics system is more complete than many physics system of today, you feel powerful. There is a realistic approch to a totalitarian alien government take over showing unique depth. there is good pacing and you actually have to think with the puzzles, making it much better than a mindless shooter.
Summary: First off, the game's graphics and controls are great, even fun to go through x amount of levels before it turns into something totally crude, offensive, and evil. I had the displeasure of going into the level "We don't go to Ravenclaw" or whatever it's called, and you're basically in an abandoned town at night with mentally handicapped people screaming at you "Let go of me!!" while you throw saw blades at everyone.
Summary: The game is of course just a simple port of the game for the PC. Personally I think that the loading times are a little long and much much more frequent than with a PC. I have actually calculated the loading times in comparison to its PC counterpart and there is consistently 2 to 3 times the number of loading screens!
Summary: This game is the best game I've played on any game console (including wii, 360, etc!). The game designers and producers obviously put a lot of work into this game, making it very interactive, extremely long, and varied. Each level is different, with different challenges, environments, vehicles, etc. The game is not just your ordinary shoot 'em up game, but you are required to use your brain to figure out how to move forward by interacting with the environment.
Summary: In Half Life 2 are the controls are great and the graphics are excellent by xbox standards. The cons are extremely boring game. The game itself is not bad and its functional and does a good job of setting the game world to look huge and detailed. Where I had a problem with Half Life 2 was it just did not appeal to me. First person shooters have to do more than have good controls to draw me in they have to give me a reason to keep playing and this one didn't.
Summary: THIS GAME KICKS MAJOR BUTT! IT PROBABLY IS BETTER THAN HAVING ANGELINA JOLIE AS YOUR GIRLFRIEND!!well, thinking about it, it isn't, BUT IT STILL IS FREAKING AMAZING! IT HAS AN AWESOME STORY, MEMORABLE CHARACTERS, GREAT GRAPHICS, LOTS OF EXCITEMENT, GREAT ENEMIES, AND IT IS JUST OVERALL POSSIBLY THE BEST GAME EVER MADE! YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO BEAT IT AGAIN AND AGAIN.
Summary: First off let me say I didn't play this on the Xbox. I played it on PC and I recommend you do as well if you can because I heard the loading times on the Xbox are really long. Now onto the game itself: Being the sequel to an FPS classic that won over 50 game of the year awards let's admit it, Half-Life 2 had some huge shoes to fill. In my opinion, Half-Life 2 is the most underrated FPS out there.
