Summary: This is a good game, no question, and definitley woerth buying. But the real question is; Is it better than the original. Things it has (and the original lacks). - Wide, immersive landscapes. - Extremly powerfull (Source) physics engine. - Far superior graphics. - Real use of vehicles. Things it lacks (and the original has mastered). - Use of puzzles in gameplay. - Really simple, easy to get into, but strong plot. - Less revolutionary. - Good (or decent) AI.
Summary: Wow. How far has the xbox come. From Die Hard Vendetta to Half Life 2, its like a different console. The graphics are amazing, the interactive objects and environments straight off a PC. Being only a second rate, pick up and play gamer who prefers not to spend more that an hour at a time at a game it is a rare occurance for me to be hooked, but hooked I am. As a general rule I don't like having to think too much in my video gaming.
Summary: This game has its ups and downs... Downs are the water hazzard bit, at another point, if you dont kill snipers with granades, the game doesn't reconise that youv'e killed them, the tripod things are HARD to kill! The ups? Lots to do, the gravity gun!!! And its addictive, you don't want to stop playing..... And the ending is very confusing and odd... A must play despite a few flaws... It took me 920mins on easy... i want a bit more next time... please!!
Summary: First impressions, Amazing graphics, good AI, amazing physics engine so over all it is a great game. Each level is fantastic, they each have different enimies, layout and items. I have had the game for a while now and have soon discovered that the fun runs out quickly. You can play through the levels a couple of times and then it starts to get boring.
It's Half Life all over again, with spit and polish and physicphilia

Summary: Warning, this review may spoil some surprises in the game, but not too many.... Is this the perfect game, like Edge and several other reviewers claim? Well, no... But it's addictive at times... It's no radical change from the original Half Life, but a game several years more advanced in graphics. The beginning is both good and odd. Notice the way you hold things in this world, they just float in front of you... Do you have some hidden psychic powers?
Summary: Great game, it took me about 15 hours to complete. I have a few complaints about it, one the loading times, there are so many loading times and they really get in the way of the gameplay, to me this was a major let down. Graphically this game is very impressive, slow-down doesn't really happen that much and for me never got in the way. My second complain is about re-playability, once you finish this game, there's no incentive to go back, no multiplayer...
Summary: First off, I'm not even going to try denying that this game is awesome fun. Good graphics, good sound effects, good fights, good story, the famous physics engine - you could say this game has it all. One of the main things about this game is that accomplishing tasks is often done through a problem-solving basis, normally using the fantastic physics engine to do so.
Summary: This game is amazing, the graphics and physics are mind blowing and so is the game play. All this is fine apart from one thing. There is ALOT of slow down compared to any other game, although it is mostly at the beginning and at the end. alot of the time i couldn't believe how much there is but i got over it! It's forgivable. This is a great game but loses one star as a result of the slow down.
Summary: If you own a PC that is able to play Half Life 2 smoothly then you have no need to buy this game. If like me however your PC was not quite powerful enough to run the game smoothly then this XBOX version will do very nicely thank you. I did manage to get to the end of the game on the PC but it was a real struggle with a lot of slowdown. So far I am about 2 hours into the XBOX version and everything that was in the PC single player appears to be there.
