"A great game for the xbox platform"
6 September 2009
Pros: There's plenty of missions, including sub missions which makes the game enjoyable to play and there's plenty of cheat codes which should make finishing the game easier. The controls are easier than the PC version.
Cons: There are some blurry graphics and its very difficult to perform drive by's.Every car on the game are quite difficult to control because they easily lose traction and grip. Loading time is a bit long.
Conclusion: Huge variety with this game - you can either follow the story and do the missions or you can go and either be a vigilante, taxi or ambulance - however to actually progress you do need to follow the story - and therein lies the only problem with this game - some of the missions are quite hard and you can get really bored having to do the same mission over and over again. However, still a great game if you are prepared to stick with it.
Conclusion: all in all the game is worth picking up if you have the extra money, but nothing makes it stand out from the rest of the pack. only 2 playable characters until find the unlockeable items, it gets old kinda faster than other games. when playing co op, frame rate is a very big issue. the conept of co op points for working together is a great idea, but needs to be reworked with frame rate in mind.
Summary: "Why I'm Still Playing San Andreas and Everyone Else Has Moved On" Maybe I'm just being nostalgic.....this was the thought running through my head as I ordered a cheap second hand copy of San Andreas off Ebay - I've owned and sold it on before but I never finished the game - and here's why I'm still playing it and everyone else has moved on....
Excerpt: "Following on from its predeccesors the games just keep on improving in graphics and storyline. Huge range of cars to drive keep sell or pimp up if you feel like it. The new gamemap is set out across 3 different cities Los Santos(where you start), San Fierro and Las Venturas. You also venture across countryside in some missions, this new game map is 3 times bigger than that of Vice City. I have not believe that it is the violence that makes these games ...
Pros: Huge game island, good targeting system, improved AI
