Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
6 October 2005
Conclusion: Huge variety with this game - you can either follow the story and do the missions or you can go and either be a vigilante, taxi or ambulance - however to actually progress you do need to follow the story - and therein lies the only problem with this game - some of the missions are quite hard and you can get really bored having to do the same mission over and over again. However, still a great game if you are prepared to stick with it.
Conclusion: all in all the game is worth picking up if you have the extra money, but nothing makes it stand out from the rest of the pack. only 2 playable characters until find the unlockeable items, it gets old kinda faster than other games. when playing co op, frame rate is a very big issue. the conept of co op points for working together is a great idea, but needs to be reworked with frame rate in mind.
Summary: This is great game.It is a must buy graphics are fairly poor but game is very fun. However the problems i encountered when i bought this game were i needed a 250gb hardrive. This game will not work on an xbox 360 without a 250gb hardrive so if you dont have one consider buying one or dont buy this game.
Summary: Gta is a must have game for the xbox. The world is huge, there is loadz to do and the storyline is entertaining. The storyline is very long, and some missions are near impossible to complete, which is really annoying if you get stuck on an early level. There are hundreds of different cars, weapons and areas to explore. The graphics are reasonable, but arent in the same league as the rest of the game.
Summary: I enjoyed the GTA double pack very much when it came out. The reflections on the cars, the engine that looked like an engine after your hood gets blown off, the polygon count on the wheels of my PCJ600, the lighting and the overall improved smooth framerate. Rockstar improved both incarnations with equal aplomb. The drive by right analogue stick, 'click to fire' was a touch of genius. Obviously things have changed.
Summary: Upon playing Grnad Theft Auto's newest attempt, I was delighted, yet distraught at my delight. The game provides endless hours of fun and missions, dotting the map with secrets and goodies to find along the way. But when playing I couldn't help but notice the extreme violence and sexual themes throughout the game. For example, you can stick a vibrator into a car exhaust and the car will blow up.
Summary: I have owned the PS2 version of this game since its release on October 29 last year, and I found it to be very enjoyable. Since then, my brother - who owns an xbox - had bought the new xbox version of the game. Naturally I decided to have a look, and found its not much different; The vehicle graphics have improved a lot, but everything else is still the same.
Summary: Don't get me wrong this is a fab game. You get everything from bloody gangbangs and car chases, to prostitutes and gritty slang and swearing, however I can't help thinking it's not far off from the last one... But the missions are great nevertheless. as always, you start off as a sort of escort, a sort of getaway car driver... then the missions progress as you get further up the chain, earning respect from your fellow gang members and streetshoods...
