Need for Speed Carbon Reader Review - 6.0

  • Conclusion: I was expecting better things from this installment but I have to say i'm disappointed : ( 'Most wanted' always felt like you had a fifth wheel tucked underneath the car and you never really felt like you were in touch with tarmac, this unfortunately is the same. I love driving games but in comparison with Forza, PGR2 or 3 or Test Drive Unlimited this game just doesn't match up in the driving stakes...what saves it to a certain degree is the graphics, it's pretty!

Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows Reader Review - 5.5

  • Conclusion: This game is definetly too short for price, so when it comes down to ten dollars, it might be worth it. But one issue with the games is the abilities of all the characters is too identical. Make them different give the four heroes different skills, yes, this will make some characters have an unfair advantage, and cause us to argue about it's fairness, but we like this. We want differnce. The story, is just plain bad.

Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows Reader Review - 5.5

  • Conclusion: Let me start with, this was not worth the fifty dollars I payed for it. For fifty dollars I shouldn't have been able to beat the game in three and a half hours. Only having to restart one level. Sure it is good as a hack and slash game, but that was ALL it was. This game is a definate step back from the other Gauntlet games. Which required more that just jamming an attack button to beat the game.

Keep your gloves on

  • Excerpt: This is a role playing game and a very mediocre one at that which as far as I’m concerned is not worth purchasing but could be considered as a rental option. You get to choose which of the four characters you want to play, either the Warrior, elf, wizard or valkyrie but the problem is that although they have slightly different strengths and weaknesses they play almost identically so it does not greatly matter which character you choose which is disappointing for those...
  • Pros: Taking out multiple enemies

Simple but effective

  • Summary: Ok - not the most complicated game ever. If you like super-complexity and real mind-bending problems - not the game for you. But if you want a simple "shoot 'em up", well, "chop 'em up" in this case, the combat keeps you on your toes for hours. Best played with two or more - getting in the way of each other adds to the enjoyable mayhem. We played this as a family for hours and hours! We keep coming back to it every now and then. It's a classic.

Trigger Happy

  • Summary: To sum up, Guantlet Dark Legacy is a repetitive, finger bashing RSI inducing game. In the best traditions of the sequence you select a character and pass through portals where a myriad of enemy generators await to spew out orcs/skeletons/ghosts/knights all intent in introducing themselves in a most rudimentary fashion. And that's where the finger bashing starts. Forward/attack. Forward/attack. Forward/attack on and on it goes.

Nix besonderes
