Need for Speed Carbon Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: For attempting to satiate the entire racing game populous with a single title, EA has done a pretty fine job. Would a super-mega tuner game have been a better move? Would a follow-up to the pursuit-style racing of Most Wanted have made more sense? Maybe and maybe. Need for Speed Carbon proves that the NFS series still has legs, and can pretty much follow any trend currently being plied in the auto industry.

Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows Review

IGN Entertainment
9 February 2008
  • Conclusion: Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows really came along nicely since E3, as it wasn’t a game that I cared much about at the time. The end product is very solid in most of the areas that make for a good hack n’ slash title, such as strong visuals/sound, manageable camera function, and a stout combat system. I think that Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows could have been better with a different camera system, but I’m sure the current system is what allows the four player action to occur.

  • Excerpt: Unlike the original arcade game which didn’t actually have a plotline attached to it, Seven Sorrows tells the story of the Warrior, the Elf, The Valkyrie and the Wizard through the eyes of the emperor of the land. These four characters are actually immortals who were the champions of the emperor in a happier time.

Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows

Game Over Online
10 January 2006
  • Excerpt: “Warrior needs food … Badly!” With these four words, a quarter munching franchise was born. When Midway launched the classic arcade hit Gauntlet in 1984, they distilled the dungeon crawling essence into a few basic elements: heroes with different abilities and skills crawling through a massive dungeon fighting their way through hordes of monsters and collecting treasure. It was simple, straightforward and immediately addictive.

  • Conclusion: Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows is decent hack and slash adventure that can keep you occupied for a while, although giving its nature this is only for fans of the hack and slash games, or if you're in need of a good co-op game. Otherwise you could get your fill on a rental. Seven Sorrows isn't trying anything new, rather providing an update reflection on this arcade classic.

American Conquest - Divided Nation

  • Conclusion: Tja, was soll man dazu sagen.
