Summary: I bought this game and was very disappointed. You can tell other people in your group what to do but you can't even use your own gun in this game. All you really can do is throw grenades and run.
Conclusion: Whent the case quotes describe it as "The Most Realistic War Game Ever" and you notice it is rated 9 or above by Official XBOXMagazine, XBox Gamer, Xbox world and rated 92% by C&VG you automaticly think it is going to be good. And THQ dont let you down. THQ are renowned for some suberb games but this tops the list, no other game has been created in this way.
Conclusion: Finally, a modernized war game. Gameplay was good, weapons fire was realistic. Being a Marine, I loved this game, very realistic. To bad you were not actually getting to shoot, but Close Combat: First to Fight should change that. I recommend playing this game in 5.1, haven't downloaded the extra missions yet, but soon will. Character Bio's were great, and got you into the game, training sessions were excellent.
Conclusion: Basically I rented a copy of Full Spectrum Warrior, had it for one night, thought it would be just another strategy game, not being particularly into stragetic type games, for a first person type...but ended up playing way into the early ours of the morning, suddenly realising I had to be up for work in a couple of hours, I was that engrosed in this totally realistic adaption of modern day war, to be able to control two squads of geared up soldiers, starting off you go...
Conclusion: Being as Full Spectrum Warrior is the game that persuaded me to buy the X-Box in the first place, I don't have to say that my expectations were high. When I first got it i was so excited that I would have given the game a perfect score, now that I have it, and have played through a good portion of it, I have decided the game is not perfect. Overall the game is great, and groundbreaking in its design.
Conclusion: If you love military games then this is the game for you. It is an amazing game that does so many things right. It is a complete game from start to finish and is worth buying. Its a strategy/action game I would say. It has alot of strategy but also alot of action. The XBox Live play is great and alot of fun playing with a friend. The tactics change when you are playing on Live. The enemys are smart and most battles will not play out the same.
Conclusion: I just wan't to say that i love this game. At first I thought the game was going to be dumb, and wasn't going to pick this game up. Just because i like having control over the aiming and firing of the weapons offered. like rainbow six 3 or ghost recon. but i must say that when io watched the video hear on teamxbox my eagerness to play arrose. so i bought the game and haven't stoped playing it since.
Full Spectrum Warrior (Xbox): Not The Most Innovative Name
16 October 2012
Summary: Full Spectrum Warrior. Hardly the name which screams 'innovation', is it? When you hear it, it brings back memories of all the generic shooters that this generation of consoles has seen. Thankfully, though, we don't have to suffer another Turok Evolution with Full Spectrum. In fact, it isn't a first person shooter in any sense of the phrase. Also, you don't even have direct control over the soldiers. Sounds crazy, yes?
Excerpt: OMG!!! Its the best game ever. And its for everyone (well most people). Just look at the cover its amazing. Its got SLASH!!! A true legned of rock! Easy to use, easy to follow, easy to complete...on easy. Guitar Hero 3: LEGENDS OF ROCK is brilliant. Just wow. I will get into more detail next.
