Summary: Fight night round 3 is the best boxing game so far, I mean pernonaly I like it, you can go to carrer mode, and you can make your player look like you, and as you go through training, and fighting you really get into it, makes you feal if your in the game boxing your way through belts, and trophys ,and keeping your record clean with no loses.
Summary: This is one of the first boxing games I've grown to love. Unfortunately, the game lacks features like themes - the soundtrack gets old very fast, especially if you're not into hip-hop. Anyway, XBOX Live doesn't work until you "fix" the "bug" the game was programmed with. In short, I had to call XBOX support to get the solution - Set your XBOX System's date to 11/15/01. This is the only way anyone will get this game to work on XBOX Live.
Summary: This game is great fun, high on adreline, good graphics and the best of all, lands your punch like no other :) Among the highlights, I loved the ESPN Classics where you can relive the greatest boxing rivalries that existed in the world. By taking on the role of a previous champ, you get to play his moves! For instance, Ali is nimble, has stamina etc. while Frazier has deadly power behind his punches.
Conclusion: I have been a huge fan of the EA Sports series of boxing games since Knockout Kings 2000 on the PS1 and I have watched it evolve with sheer delight into the magnificent series that is Fight Night. When I first heard about the development of Fight Night Round 3 I could barely contain my excitement, however, my spirits were severely dampened when it appeared that it would be a 360/PS2 only release.
Summary: Fight Night round 3 is a decent game it is everything that round 2 was except for the training which is easier in this game except for the problamatic combo dummy in the fight when you are going to your corner to get all patched up by your manager and what not it is completley different from round 2 round 2 is so much simpler and uses the q-tips to soak up the blood and the d-sweller to take away the swelling this is my most hated part of this game for some reason i JUST...
Summary: Why are so many people complaining about the total punch control? EA put this in the game for people who like something new(oh no not that!)in our games and us who like a challenge(oh God no!)Question...how come no one has anything to say when EA releases a "new" Madden yeah after year with the same graphics engine and one or two new features? Its because the games are updated each year. Key word, UPDATED.
Summary: This game is ok for the regular xbox but is so much better on 360. The game play is pretty good and champion creator is interesting. However, the game is pretty easy, all you have to do is start off leaning and dodging, then hit some body shots, then throw your haymakers, and if opponent blocks just switch stance. Its not a bad game for the money.
Summary: If you have owned previous titles in this series, you are going to be disappointed. Not because this is a bad game, but because it is different. Not in the "Fight Night to FNR2" sense though. This game has taken a huge step sideways from the franchise. Graphics: More along the first Fight Night line. The graphics are built around the FNR2 engine, with the same grainy feel of the first FN.
Summary: I have played the previous games in this series and enjoyed them so got this third one in the series for the XBox recently. For me it is one of the leaders in the boxing game world and great fun. There is one different type of match introduced this year called a "Hard Hit" fight. This game type does not involve timed rounds. Instead the round continues until one fighter is knocked down. This continues until a boxer can't get up anymore.
Pros: Great boxing series gets better
Cons: Computer boxers a little easy to beat at times
Summary: Fight Night 3 is the first boxing game I've ever bought. The first time I played it i went straight onto the Career mode. I thoght 'Wow this is great!' but the career mode is very, very repetitive, you start of as an ameteur boxer and make your way to be the next champion. It's the same after every fight - Sing contract, Train and then fight. Althogh the career mode lacks, the overall game play is really good - loads of different types of hits (including illeagal blows!
