  • Summary: I expect that the new fifa will be absolutely amazing, i cant wait for it to come out and as soon as it comes out i think i will be one of the first people to buy it. I am not someone who sits by a computer all day but when i have a spare minute i will always play on fifa 2004 as i really enjoy it.

Amazon

  • Summary: I've never written anything like this in my life for any game whether i loved it or hated it, but feel compelled to let people know just how bad FIFA 2005 is before they spend their hard earned cash.

Showed potential but....

Amazon
1 November 2005
  • Summary: Talking about online play here - for the first week or so it was fun - now however the old fifa problems are rearing up again. People have discovered that play in a certain way and you are guaranteed to score, so now everyone does this. Trying to play football has gone out of the window.

Very, very poor!

"dczesnikowski", Amazon
1 November 2005
  • Summary: This game is useless in my opinion. Graphics are ok, but that is it. Playing against your friend is bearable, but doing the one player is rubbish. I am currently Boston and every team I play they have about 60% possession, attack me, I tackle them I then run down the middle (as there is noone to...

Another year, another Fifa!

Amazon
1 November 2005
  • Summary: Firstly, I have to admit that the Fifa football franchise is one that I have grown up with, and couldn't wait for last years edition (2004) for the opportunity to take a third division side up to the premiership through shrewd managerial decisions.

Disappointing Effort

Amazon
1 November 2005
  • Summary: I bought my copy of Fifa 2005 only yesterday as I hadn't owned a football game since Pro Evo 2. I can only echo the reviews of other disappointed buyers. The gameplay is predictable, the movement of players is jerky and when you score a goal it looks very unnatural.

Game play not gimicks!

Mr. Cm Taylor "Chris Taylor", Amazon
1 November 2005
  • Summary: Simply put buy pro evo 4. Why? Because EA only want money, they don't care about making a good football game. they farm out a new version of the game with a new gimick each year, and all they do is mess around with the game settings to make it seem different.

EA improving a series after many poor years

TCP Services "TCP Services", Amazon
1 November 2005
  • Summary: I have always been a big ISS fan and had always found that the FIFA releases prior to 2004 were extremely poor in comparison to the ISS Pro series. After buying an Xbox I decided to try 2004 a go after reading a good review on it and I have to say that it is a massive improvement over the older...
