Summary: ordered this and the game was totally scratched, I emailed them and they said: 'don't write a bad review, we'll send you another one' , so I didn't write anything, but in a month nothings come.
Summary: Why do I think this game is rubbish? Simple, you cannot adjust the game speed, so it plays really slow. The players move as if they are running through treacle. The manual says you can adjust the speed, but there is no option to do so, and the EA website confirms you cannot. It may look nice etc, but when it's this slow, the gameplay is nothing but frustrating. My copy is gathering dust as I stick to FIFA 2003!!!
Summary: This is truly one of the worst football games I have ever played. While Fifa games may look pretty people play video games primarily because of the gameplay and not the graphics. The biggest problem with this game is the difficulty level as is with most EA titles. On Amateur level you can easily beat the most difficult teams 8-0 but move one notch up to semi-pro and its see how long you can keep the ball, its impossible to score!!!
Summary: When i bought i had very high expectations but when i placed the game in to the console and loaded it up i found it was very poor. The gameplay was not up to the high standards i was expecting and i could go on for ever with the bad points of this game but i will stop here.
Summary: The good things about this new FIFA game are the graphics, sound and presentation which are very good as usual. However, the game can't have been play tested very much as it is so poor to play. First of all the passing is very shoddy - when you can see a player to pass to and you press the button to pass to them, the ball very rarely goes to them, and will more often go off in a straight line down the pitch.
Summary: In contrast to one of the reviews I didn't find this to be the same old game, quite the opposite in fact. I have played FIFA 2003 to the death, and was really looking forward to the same but with better graphics. This is however completely new. EA have managed to take a fantastic football game and turn it into a completely boring experience, and the graphics I might add are aweful.
