Summary: The now age old argument. If you like real football with effort and endevour to be good then don't buy fifa get Pro Evo. If you like flashy effects without the gritty reality of football then buy Fifa. This game looks good etc...But who cares! I bet every gamer has a fav game that aint hot on looks but DOES THE JOB. The dribbling is awful and the crossing terrible, free kicks and corners have that stupid x,a,b etc over the players heads to aim for.
Summary: I brought this game earlyer this year expecting something as good as the previous ones. My first impressions were brilliant as the programing was brilliant, apart from the fact that it has been created by nerds that know as much about football as a pack mule with alzeihmers. this is only something you realise after you have played on it for a while. this game is a waste of money you might as well buy an older one or alternatively buy iss or something.
Summary: The first thing i noticed about this latest instalment to the ever so increasingly popular Fifa series is that graphics are fantastic. However, once i started playing my views somewhat evaluated into a negative form of thinking towards the game. Secondly i noticed that the more talented players in real life, such as Ryan Giggs were almost designed to be equal to the lesser type players such as Garry Breen.
Summary: The graphics on fifa 2003 are very good. The new scoreable free kick scenario adds an intersting dimension to the game, thats about it for the good stuff. The bad stuff, which is most of it, is the same tired old rubbish we have seen so many times before. The easy levels are far to easy to hold anyones interest for long, after all winning 8-0 all the time is a bit boring after a while.
Summary: In the last decade Ive had every Fifa game ever made, on which ever format I had at the time.Every year they seem to get better(except for Fifa 97 which was bad). This year theres no surprise then that its better than the last. Other reviewers have said that you cant score from crosses?WHAT?!
Summary: Upon first picking up the game you think "same old fifa, excellent presentation, dodgy gameplay", and indeed at first it does seem this way. The menu system is hardly dynamic, but it does the job, and includes some new features, including a new game type. A decent enough soundtrack plays along in the background and helps the game to flow, choose the teams and your away (more detailed options are available for those who want them).
Summary: this game is reworked compared to the previous fifa games so that let the past put you off, the control system is much improved and now similiar to pro evolution. it is the best football game on the xbox by far and you will have a great laugh playing it with your friends.
Summary: I've played a few of the games in this series, and I reckon this is the best yet. From the look of the stadia right down to the passing in-game, pretty much everything's been tweaked. There's been some serious thought as to how the players behave, and as a result there's finally some realistic movement off the ball. The passing is fantastic too - choose from the play-it-safe normal pass or the through ball to split that Man U defence (again and again and again).
