Conclusion: EA I have to admit, FIFA 07 surprised the heck out of me. It is a phenomenal game of soccer this year and the little tweaks and touches that were added really do make all of the difference. It looks great, sounds great, plays great, and features a ton of real world teams and players which all add up to a fantastic soccer game that fans will love. Is it better than Winning Eleven 9? I’m honestly not sure. You’ll have to see for yourself.
Excerpt: Do you know, the very first game I bought for my PC all those years ago was Fifa 97! Now, 10 years on, the series continues to go from strength to strength and this latest edition is no different.
Excerpt: The FIFA franchise has been around for a long time now, and I've always loved a good battle on the pitch. So I was more than content with the opportunity to try out the latest (and last) effort for the Xbox. EA has overall always been able to put forth a pretty valiant effort in the soccer genre.
Excerpt: FIFA 07 is a great game. It's a great game not because EA has done something revolutionary or drastic, but rather because they have taken a great game and made subtle improvements throughout, making it the best FIFA title to date. It feels, looks, and plays better than the previous titles, and that's saying a lot.
There has been no lack of FIFA titles dribbling onto the market over the past year or so.
