Worth a buy as at the time was the best football game on the market.

Excerpt: Ea finally improved upon the graphics with this game, with player faces and stadiums now at least somewhat resembling their real life counterparts. Although the range of faces included is much improved upon the previous Fifa versions, it still leaves a lot to be desired when even the major teams don't have the faces of all of their first team players.
Summary: Fifa 06 is a ground breaking game that puts you in control of the best football clubs with its immense graphics, well at least thats what is said on the box. Compared to Fifa 05 the gameplay has improved a little but yet after this 'step up' it still doesn't live up to its full potential and leaves the gamer left feeling as if more could have been done.
Summary: Unfortunately, its 50/50 whether to reccomend this game or not. On the plus side, EA have put lots of detail into getting star performers actual boots on the tv screen, and some of the faces are quite real. Its also credit to them that they introduced a good "challenge" section, where you get points to eventually unlock things - but like many games, half are pointless things.
Summary: Lets be honest, most people only buy Fifa football games because they are the official brand name for football, so they get all the correct names of players and teams in the game (unlike Pro Evolution). Most people buy Pro Evolution for the gameplay quick one touch feel and the many tricks that can be done.
Summary: Like most I have bought FIFA games for the last 5 years or so and have watched as with each new incarnation the developers treated us with new game play ideas, some good and some not so good. The main issue with this latest version of FIFA 06 is the slowdown encountered during a match. I have noticed that it is not just confined to playing 'Long balls' but appears when things get a bit bizzy.
Summary: Despite the negative title above, some aspects of Fifa have been vastly improved in the 06 compared to the 05 version: - the game is faster and more fluid than Fifa 2005, which gives a more realistic feel to the attacking play; - the free kicks are much more realistic, as you now have a lot of control as to how you tack your free kick (around/over the wall high/low, straight, curved, etc.
Summary: I haven't played this game for very long so these are early opinons. But i must say how shocking the frame rate is!no matter what i did (taking away the player names, zooming in the camera etc) quite often the game will jerk when there are quick long balls played or if there is to many players on the screen at once!
Summary: Fifa 06 for the PS2 is brilliant however i find this game very annoying for the xbox. the annoying thing is the long balls and the analog the analog is too small for it and the long balls are awful
Pros: Graficos,sonido ambiente
