A great use of the Family Guy licence and the show's unique humour. Average and frustrating gameplay lets it down. Read more

I already suffered through the X-Men game this summer, so I figured Family Guy comedy would give the formula a much-needed lift. Clearly I’ve been betrayed, suckered into the same damn thing, and now I’m just frustrated. Family Guy has come very far in reproducing the TV experience, but doesn’t get the same ratings. Read more

If you’re not a fan of the show, then there’s no reason to play the game. You’ll miss most of the referential humor and the gameplay can’t make up for what you’re missing. If you are a fan then you’d better be a huge fan because it will take your undying love for the show to pull you through until the end. Read more

It seems today that all you see is violence in games and sex in, well, other games. But are we lucky there's a Family Guy game? Read more

Though it gets the show's style of humor down pat, Family Guy is derailed by frustrating and uninteresting gameplay. Read more

The first video game based on the hugely popular Family Guy TV show, the Family Guy game features the same outrageous humour all the fans know and love. Play through three stories that intersect in typical Family Guy fashion. Be Stewie and match wits against his arch-nemesis half-brother Bertram as they vie to take over the world. Take control of Peter and fight to stop Mr. Belvedere who he thinks is trying to take over the world. Slip on a collar and down a martini as... Read more

The game is very, very hard on the Brian levels. They are very frustrating to play and not much fun. Otherwise, the other levels are pretty easy. You will have to play mini-games that are strange. If you succeed on Stewie's mini-games, you will get 10 bullets for his gun which helps sometimes. If you succeed on Brian's mini-games, you will turn invincible for a few seconds, which doesn't really help. If you succeed on Peter's mini-games, you will give Peter more food.... Read more
