A good stand alone game. Not part as of Fallout

Summary: This game is a good dungeon crawler, but don't go in expecting a great Fallout game. THIS IS NOT FALLOUT, its just a bad side game. Don't get me wrong its a great game just not a great Fallout game, don't consider it part of the series. Its good if you have a friend who doesn't like Fallout, but likes dungeon crawlers like Champions of Norrath.
Summary: The makers of this game should have either NOT named this Fallout OR added a disclaimer that this game is NOT apart of the Fallout Canon This game should be considered a lame 'ode' to Fallout rather than an actual FO game. Gameplay sucks, graphics suck, over-use of foul language and lame inappropriate jokes ((all the time, left and right)) Instead of Nuka-Cola, Bawls soda appears in the game ***huge annoying distraction outside of the FO canon; and many weapons are named...
Summary: Fallout BOS is boring as hell camera angle is hard to get around to, the original music is good, but the added music from crappy fake metal bands sucks! it ruins the games compared to the other fallout games the rest fallout games rocks but this on is the least of my likings out the series!
Summary: Did you enjoy the "Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance" games produced for Xbox? If the answer is yes, then there's a decent chance you will enjoy "Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel". Basically it is exactly the same user interface and the game is developed in just about the same manner. If you're a fan of the Fallout series, like me, then you probably picked this up, and if you enjoyed the Baldur's Gate series on Xbox, like me, then you were probably twice as excited.
Summary: Whatever your thoughts about this game, it is NOT a Fallout game. A Fallout game would have a vast story, completely customizable characters, and an open-ended world. Despite all this, the game is a lot of fun, even though it is kind of a treadmill. They game is reminiscent of a wasteland version of Diablo II, what with the myriad weapons and leveling system that they have set up. So, all in all, fun, but it should not be lumped in with Fallout.
Summary: I picked this up used and couldnt have been more disappointed. It has none of the feel of the original fallout titles. As some examples, the action isnt turn based, which really ruined this for me right off from the start. Half the fun and originality of fallout was the turn based action. The backing music doesnt have the same feel at all. Rather than the grim ambience of the first to set the mood, they use 'rock and roll' tracks from bands like 'slipknot'.
