Conclusion: Evil Dead places you in the character known as "Ash", he's a bad-ass zombie slayer who uses classic slasher flick combat maneuvers, and twists them with his own at the will of his confidence pushed up by his own battle-hardening experiences with deadites of the like in the past. You will start the game off in a flashback in the hellish cabin fate had brought him in. This will bring some memories forth to those that watched the original movie, "Evil Dead".
Summary: I got this game for next to nothing for my XBox 360 Elite (it plays fine by the way). Despite it being an older title, the graphics really do an excellent job of representing Bruce Campbell and the tone and humour of the games are really in tune with the Evil Dead series. I really wasn't expecting much from the gameplay but it's turned out to be really addictive, kind of like being in a follow up to the films themselves. Worth every penny.
Summary: Being one of those unfortunate people that have not quite upgraded to X-box 360, or been totally ripped off paying extravagant amounts for PS3, I find myself digging through the basement bargains bins for cheap gaming entertainment to pass the occasional hour that I get in the evening. So I picked up this game for a few quid and was not really expecting too much.
