Conclusion: ESPN footbal..all the way touchdown!!anyway what I'm trying to say is this game is by far the best football game out there.hot routes, and play calling is a snap, controls are easy to function, are beautiful, sit down MADDEN!you lost the game. It's too bad that scared ass EA and company had too much competion on there hands, maybe it's because this might of been a better game perhaps.
Conclusion: ESPN NFL 2k5 is this year's best football game, no contest. I won't even attach IMO to that comment. The 2k series has never caught my eye, and I have been playing Madden since Madden NFL 2001. This your ESPN outdoes it, with incredible graphics, awesome gameplay, and...well just read the review.
Conclusion: Visual Concepts goes out on top with its last football game, ESPN NFL 2K5. This game is simply the best football game that I have ever played. The game perfectly balances simulation and fun. There are also so many features that you probably won't have time to experience all of them. My favorite feature is the V.I.P. system, which tracks how you play in every game. It was great to play against a CPU version of myself, it played just like me!
Conclusion: This is yet again a classic ESPN videogame. They never let us down. It is easily the best footballl game ever. And the most realistic. The best part about the game is SC (Sports Center) with Chris Bergman. He does a great half time show and post and pre game show. He says the players nick names 2! I highly recommend buying this football game. Plus its only 20 bucks. Go out and buy yourself a copy of this awesome game.
Conclusion: Alright, I am no fanboy of any particular Football videogame franchise but you'll find in this review probably just a little hositility towards EA and it's Madden franchise, so if your a Madden fanboy you probably won't want to read on because this will most likely make you want to debate the issue with me.
Conclusion: I haven't played Madden 2005, so I can't say that this is the best football game. However, I can say that this is the greatest NFL 2K game of all time, and I think VC is gonna have a hard time trying to top this one next year (although I hope they add a play editor to make your own football plays). From looking at movies and screens for both games, ESPN has got the edge over Madden graphics wise.
Conclusion: ESPN NFL 2K5 is unrivaled as the most complete football gaming experience, from the beautifully detailed graphics to the incredible gameplay. I was amazed from the moment I saw this year's ESPN NFL game (I was a fan of last year's, actually I liked all the Sega football games, but I still prefered Madden) this year's won my heart. In my opinion ESPN is very solid but it does have its weak spots.
Conclusion: This game is by far the best simulation of football there is on the market! I have been a Madden fan since its induction but the people at ESPN have converted me with gripping gameplay and visuals that just cannot be ingnored even by devout Madden fans. Let's talk first about visuals.....simply amazing animation and physics so real I feel as though I am watching a live broadcast. That is not to say ESPN doesn't have problems.
Conclusion: First off I'd like to let you know that I am not a one sided reviewer when it comes to sports games. I have owned Madden 1999, Madden 2003, and NFL Fever 2004. With that said, here it goes. ~CONTROLS~ As with any football game controls take getting used to, especially when you have played more than one game. The controls beat out Fevers by far, but rival Madden for most comfortable. After just an hour of playing, there is a good chance you will have it down.
Conclusion: Outstanding! I've been a 2k fan since The Dreamcast, so this latest effort comes as no surprise. I've played a lot of football sims (Techno Bowl was my 1st love) and I gotta tell ya, this game tops them all! EA's Madden is a good sim, my only problem...it's too easy. I think thats one of the reasons why people like it soo much, big runs, long passes, excites some people, especially when playing 1 on 1.
