Excerpt: Enclave is a hack and slash through and through. I'd compare it to baldurs gate games in terms of gameplay, only with more depth, and less rpg elements. The camera angle is also positioned directly behind the character (or you can go first person), instead of the isometric style of baldurs gate. As you progress through the game, you unlock more charaters to play as, and more armour and weapons to equip yourself with.
Pros: Great graphics . Awesome bosses . Good gameplay . Lengthy .
Excerpt: i saw this game pre owned for £5 i thought what a bargin it sounds quite fun, after several hours of playing i was tempted to bin the game so no one would have to go through what i went through, i love RPG's i play them more then anything else games like final fantasy, world of warcraft, guild wars and many many more but i hate this game the levels make no sense the puzzles are dim witted enemy AI seems to be super real or sometimes super dumb, you die so quickly then...
Excerpt: Having completed this game, I have decided to write a review on it.: Firstly, the first thing you will notice when you play this game, is how the scenary is completely different from anything else you have ever played. Although not possessing the greatest of graphics, the scenary is quite outstanding and the gameplay is totally original. Personally this game gives you an insight into what a game could be.
Pros: Original, breath taking, fast paced medieval combat action
Excerpt: Enclave A good but challenging game. It is a fantasy based action game witch allows you to play as different characters as you progress. It's has a wobbly story line witch I would say is hard to follow. The graphics are a reasonable standard and the game play is good, however the camera angle is hard to control and is irritating when in battle. The idea of buying you items before battle is good and gives you something to work to.
Excerpt: Enclave is an excellent but difficult first person role playing game. This game is up close and personal. Action takes place in a disorganized landscape torn by a bottomless crevasse which was magically formed to surround the lone city of Celenheim, and keep it protected from the dark Outlanders preparing to invade. Your first mission is to make sure that the Outlanders do not succeed in their attempts.
Summary: Third person actioner with stunning graphics - textures and huge draw distance . You play as a good character v. bad and then when you finish you can be one of the bad guys with some variation in levels . Gameplay is mostly fighting and finding gold . This would not be too bad except it is so repetive and frustrating due to chronic controls which you cannot reconfigure and no mid level save ( unforgivable in a world with halo ).
Summary: Being old and a lover of the original Dungeons and Dragons rpg, I thought that this would be an ideal subsitute, without the need of a dungeon master, paper, models and dice. The first few levels are great, the level of difficulty is about right, and the graphics are brilliant (please bare in mind I used to have a spectrum) but then the boredom set in, I pre ordered the game and the anticipation well outlasted the playability...
Quite good, but nothing you haven't seen before really

Summary: Same old yarn (good against evil, deserted city etc) but nice graphics to boot - atmospheric sound effects add to the appeal but beware, you can waste hours on this game. Not because it is so gripping but because there are frustrating gripes; even after successfully completing 99% of a level if you fail - you guessed it - you go right back to the beginning.
Summary: This could have been a very good hack & slay adventure, but..... The combat system takes a bit of getting used to, but after a good few hours play you start to get the hang of hitting the enemy without taking a beating yourself. However, what really lets this game down is the poor control layout, in particular the jump "button". Like Halo, this game uses both joysticks, one to control movement and one to control where you are looking.
