The Dukes of Hazzard: Return of the General Lee Review
11 March 2010
Conclusion: As an economical weekend filler, Dukes of Hazzard: Return of the General Lee satisfies. The arcade racing physics and handling engine by Rat Bag is about as sweet as the Lee’s insignia orange paint. There’s not a lot of replay value here, or much in the way of modes, so this might be a decent rental for those who are skeptical. Younger people will probably get a kick out of DoH, even if they don’t know a B body from an M body.
Excerpt: The Duke boys are back in one of Hazzard County's finest redneck renditions of a videogame, "The Dukes of Hazzard: Return of the General Lee." This game is honest to goodness everything fans enjoyed so much about the hit TV series in the early 80's. Bo and Luke are still being chased by Hazzard's bumbling boys in blue, Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane and his long suffering deputy, Enos Strate. Crazy Cooter still fixes up just as many cars as he wrecks.
