Conclusion: The controls let this game down. The car dynamics are awful - the slightest mistake throws you out of control. It's extremely linear with fixed check points. Typical scenario - you run round a building shoot it out with four crooks, get in a car and attempt to chase the bad guy through crowded...
Summary: I've been a gamer for twenty years and I should have learnt by now not to believe the hype - but I did and I couldn't wait to play this game. The game is poorly presented, full of bugs and glitches, the control system stinks and most of all it's NOT FUN.
Summary: After playing GTA 3 to death I have been waiting for Driv3r to be released in eager anticipation. Be warned, this game is absolutely rubbish. Full Stop. For a console game to be released in such an unfinished and buggy state should cause the company to have their developers license revoked.
Summary: Having enjoyed vast driving arenas from Midtown Madness and Midnight Club 2 I was looking forward to the release of Driv3r, combining extensive maps of Miami, Nice and Istanbul but also allowing for out-of-car action too.
Summary: If there was one word to decribe this offering, it would be "rushed", one reviewer noted that they released it in the UK a week or two early, i wonder if this was to beat the reviews and profit on people buying this on the name. I for one will be taking it back.
Summary: Well folks, im afraid to say this game has been the biggest let down of the year for me. After all the hype and the realistic looking screen-shots and the reviews saying it would hammer GTA into oblivion, they dump this in front of us.
