Summary: The story is very long and interesting. The Free Roam (drive around and do whatever you want) is awesome. I say better than GTA free roam because you can turn off cops and enable cheats so you don't have to worry about causing an uproar when you run over people or something. You can also walk around and do things too. I love how there's many different types of vehicles and how the maps are HUGE and very detailed. I love this game.
Summary: This game is a classic, playing this is so nostalgiac. The glitches make it even more fun, but there is a problem, It does not work on the xbox 360 as of March 17, 2012. It may work in the future, but i doubt it. The only way to play it is on the PC, PS2, or an original XBOX.
Summary: I had this game since i was 11 and I'm 14 now and i still love it. It has everything you can drive cars you can drive boats you can shoot people and cops steal cars go an island in the middle of the ocean walk into a mall find secret cars. It evan has a go cart track that you have to find. There is also a yhatch you can get on and walk through. In each city there are a couple things to find and buildings you can walk into. The chases are amazing.
Summary: DRIV3R is one of the best games i have ever played. Even for its age its great. I had it for my PS2 a while ago, sold it, and now bought it back to play on my XBOX 360. After you play it you want to keep playing it so it is a very addictive game. Especially the free roam mode. Very fun for role-players and just about anybody.
Conclusion: good graphics ,ok gameplay but not good enough to beat GTA vice city or GTA 3 for that matter that pretty much sums it up the main problem with it is that you can;t do what ever you please like in GTA...you've got to follow the story and do mission after mission until you complete it,you can't just choose to go after some random person like on streets of LA and if you get stuck you can;t just play around the city or collect guns in the city to help like on GTA and it got...
Conclusion: The controls let this game down. The car dynamics are awful - the slightest mistake throws you out of control. It's extremely linear with fixed check points. Typical scenario - you run round a building shoot it out with four crooks, get in a car and attempt to chase the bad guy through crowded traffic. The slightest touch or mis-steer on a wildly over active control means you lose the bad guy and have to start all over again.
