Dragon Ball Z: Sagas Review

IGN Entertainment
9 February 2008
  • Conclusion: Dragon Ball Z: Sagas is another title to be added to the pile of promising franchises not living up to their potential. For the casual gamer looking for a decent action/fighter title, there are a slew of better possibilities. I hate to even recommend the game to fans, as the core gameplay elements are incredibly frustrating. The look of the show was captured perfectly, and it is more Dragon Ball Z goodness to be had, but really, is it worth having?

Dragonball Z: Sagas

Xbox Evolved
13 December 2005
  • Summary: The first Dragonball game on Xbox isn't a bad game, but it is no where near a good game...unless you are a true Dragonball Z fan. If you're not, well then you are going to have alot to complain about in this weak representation of an action/adventure game. Dragonball Z: Sagas looks very promising but looks can be decieving, very decieving. The graphics match the anime perfectly easily making the game look so much better than it actually is.
  • Pros: Looks and feels exactly like the anime! DBZ fan's dream...almost.
  • Cons: Very poor gameplay. Where's the Buu saga?
