Summary: ID makes Great games, have never let me down. The only thing I hate about ID is they take to long to release a game:( but they say the longer the wait the better the game:) Cant wait for rage to come out.
Summary: This is an amazing game, adding plot and suspense to the series, completely redefining Doom in it's new horror genre. It is packed full of new features. Let me fill you in on some of the new concepts. It is DARK. Not dim, not like full moon dark, like you can only see the little light on your gun telling you how much ammo you have. You have a flashlight. It is not attached to your gun, like in Quake 4, but you have to switch from gun to flashlight.
Summary: I bought this game for my XBOX, I had Doom 3 for Mac, so I can say I am a Doom Fan! This game runs beautifully. No technical problems whatsoever. The story is a Classic Doom scenario, fleshed out with compelling backstory. The graphics are great! This game is definitely creepy. Enemies sound appropriately hellish, as do the various ambient sounds. The voice acting is a very important element here, and it meets the challenge as well.
Summary: This is one of the best first person shooters out there. Even though it's a bit old, it's still a great game to play. If you like first person shooters and supernatural things, then this game is for you.
Summary: This game is a stand-alone expansion for Doom3. Because it's a console title it doesn't require that you own Doom3, this acts as it's own game. Unlike Doom3, this game is a bit more fast-paced. It's also more intense with the new weapons and new enemies that they throw at you in hordes. An all-around awesome shooter. Even though it's an original Xbox title, it's still one of the better first person shooters out there by far.
Summary: Doom 3 is a science fiction survival horror video game developed by id Software and published by Activision. An example of the first-person shooter genre, Doom 3 was first released for Microsoft Windows on August 3, 2004. The game was later adapted for Linux, as well as being ported by Aspyr Media for Mac OS X. Developer Vicarious Visions ported the game to the Xbox console, releasing it on April 3, 2005.
Summary: The Good -Action-packed -New weapons like the grabber and the double-barrel shotgun -The ability to stop time is very handy when clearing out rooms of baddies -Includes classic Doom which is always fun The Bad -A little short -Nothing much has changed for online multiplayer -No co-op mode The Verdict Must play if you loved Doom 3. Can probably pass as a rental though. There isn't much replay value without co-op except for the time-altering artifact and classic Doom.
Summary: This is still the best game ever created. I really enjoy all of the surprises that await around the corner and not knowing makes this game exciting. Doom 3 is an awesome game that everone would enjoy. I bought the first two games in the Doom series and had to have the third.
Summary: Love the game. Didn't like the codes at first but after awhile it adds a little extra twist to the game and you find some sweet weapons and much needed health. I don't like that the button you use to fire is the same on to punch in codes or directions, mainly because if your not close enough and or not paying to much attention you'll waste ammo on the keypad.
