Summary: The game is boring. The game was alright just not like the 1st one. But it had no scratches or nothing, It played great. The person I got it from took care of it. Or it just sat in the case the whole time because it sucked.
Summary: I played the original doom 3 almost nonstop during my free time since the day I got it, beating it within the week. I was overjoyed when i went online and discovered that there was already a sequel out, and I bought it right away. The game was funner than the first, better weapons and crazier enemies, but it ended so soon. It seemed as though the final boss fight was rushed in, leading up to an ending that a third grader could have produced.
Conclusion: very good game, but just gets incredibly boring and slow. got a few jumps out of it but most creepy things are just noises that you cant find a source to so you wander through without any real worry.
Conclusion: i know there are a lot of doom fans out there so i will have to be careful what i say, however i am struggling to see why doom 3 has scored so highly on anyones list. yes, its a pretty game, and the tension is built up for the 1st hour or so. but what about after that? well, personally i found it dull, repetitive and damn well annoying after a while. i mean come on, what self respecting hero wouldn't be able to wield a torch and a pistol at the same time?
Conclusion: I thought the game was crap. I rented it this weekend. The graphics were not very good....how bout those red ice cube looking blood drops whe you kill something. I really expected some seriously good graphics for an xbox game this late in the xbox life cycle. The stunk, especially the effects. Very sad. Controls are weak and aiming is horrible. At times you don't feel like you are controlling yourself but rather watching the game.
Excerpt: I've always been a massive Doom fan. I started playing Doom on the PC when it first came out, when I was five, and sitting on my uncle's lap stabbing at the keys. Since then I've enjoyed Doom and its sequels (including the awesome Doom 2, and the expansion pack Final Doom.. all top-notch) on various consoles, from the mega-drive to the PS1, the GBA to the Doom mobile-phone RPG.
