Summary: Despite the "worst camera in the world" and the frustrating save system I still enjoy this game and I have played it through a few times. The problem with the game is that the camera system is so frustrating most gamers will quit long before they realize the game has tough battles, great graphics and atmosphere, and a cheesy sci-fi story. Ok, so its not all good news :) The camera is not the only problem, I felt the save system was a bit difficult to deal with as well.
Summary: I'm still only about half way through this game, but I already know where I stand with it. After the first two games; "Puzzles, low ammo, the occasional dino & more puzzles." and "No puzzles this time, just run & shoot!" I was hoping we'd get to see a continuation of the storyline from the last game. I mean half of the previous story left so many threads open; I figure a direct sequel's the only way to go.
Summary: DINO CRISIS 3 WAS OK THE STORY WAS GOOD THE GRAPICS PERFECT CAMERA ANGLES SUCKED YOU COULD NOT SEE WHAT WAS ATTACKING AND WHORSE IF YOU HAD TO JUMP ONTO A PLATFORM THE CAMERA ANGLE WOULD CHANGE CAUESING YOU TO FALL
Summary: This game has the same problem as Oni for PS2- When I played it 'fair', the way it was designed to be played, it wasn't fun. When I 'cheated', I had a great time playing it. I started out playing Normal difficulty mode, as I always do when I first play a game. The first thing I noticed was that I was constantly being victimized by cheap shot attacks from enemies that came lunging at me from far off screen, and their attacks do an absurdly high amount damage.
Summary: The ONLY reason this game gets 3 Stars is for the graphics and Cinema Scenes. The game had so much potential to be an Incredible game. But the CAMERA ANGLES SUCKED! You can't see what you are shooting 85% of the time. What fun is a game when you can't see what you are killing? Sure it has auto aim but I want to see the Blood and the Dinosaurs getting killed. Not worth buying, JUST RENT IT... Took only 2 days to clear.
Summary: As a game, it's really good. Awesome opening sequence, and the cut-scenes are top notch. The only real problem I have with this game, which is a big problem, is the camera angles. Half of the time you can't see what's in front of you. Totally unlike real life. Difficult to make any jumps when the camera angle keeps changing in mid jump. Instead of paying attention to the game, I payed more attention to getting around the camera bug.
Summary: I went to my local PC World store one afternoon having spent half my day twiddling my thumbs questioning my very purpose on this planet besides being a waste of time and space for mankind. Then it hit me. " go buy a new video game for the xbox ! ". So I grabbed my car keys, waddled off towards my ferrari F40 (heh messing...i drive something less grande of course. no harm done in dreaming right ? :-D ) and drove to well...PC World.
