Dino Crisis 3 (Xbox): Dino bother with this game......
10 April 2011
Summary: When I mentioned to a friend recently that I had never played Dino Crisis 3 (namely because I used to be Sony through and through and owned a PS2 already when Xbox came out), he offered to lend it to me for a play, interested in hearing what I thought. His opinion was that whilst it was only okay, it was still better than "that awful Gun-Survivor version they brought out that like totally ruined the series!
Pros: Good to see the series come back for a final curtain call....
Cons: The dinosaurs featured aren't even any authentic species!
Summary: This game is very good and as enjoyable as any of the other dino crisis games. The camera isn't brilliant but it's not as bad as some other people have exaggerated. It is the most graphic of the dino crisis series. At the beggining of the game a message comes up saying: Warning: This game contains scenes of explicit violence and gore. This is only true in this game and is only because of a couple of cutscenes. I'll leave those a surprise.
Summary: I have been a huge fan of 'survival horror' since the first resident evil and loved the previous two Dino Crisis games on PS1, so I was hugely disapointed when this game received such poor reviews in the gaming press, so much so that I didn't buy the game until a dry patch appeared in releases and I found it at a reasonable price. And thank god I did! The first thing I will comment on is the storyline.
Summary: having played both the predecessors on the PS1 I was expecting somethong out of this world with this sequel. How wrong can someone be. the only thing that was out of this world was the games setting. Graphically yes very very good, but what happened to all the weapons???????? The camera angles are terrible, your going on direction, the camera angle changes and you start going in a different direction. Really frustrating.
Summary: I went to my local PC World store one afternoon having spent half my day twiddling my thumbs questioning my very purpose on this planet besides being a waste of time and space for mankind. Then it hit me. " go buy a new video game for the xbox ! ". So I grabbed my car keys, waddled off towards my ferrari F40 (heh messing...i drive something less grande of course. no harm done in dreaming right ? :-D ) and drove to well...PC World.
Summary: When it becomes clear that everybody on board the spaceship Ozymandias is dying from a mystery illness, the captain realizes that there is only one thing she can do.....clone a load of dinosaurs....(?) Okay, that's not quite how the cut scenes explain it, but they do reveal how the captain made room for further experiments by letting loose the dinosaurs throughout the ship. Eh?
Summary: this game is rubbish the camera view is annoying u might as well play the game blind folded cause the cameras that bad. And another thing the game is way too short it took me only a day too complete it and i played it on hard the. The stroyline is rubbish its stupid being set in outer space, the graphics r poor too the dinosaurs look good but the people look rubbish.
Summary: This game is everything I wanted, I mean the Graphics really do look like a Xbox exclusive and Ive always loved Dinosaurs since I was small. The camera didnt really bother me during combat but it did bother me when I had to jump from platform to platform but thats no reason not to play this wicked game. The plot is great and its about time capcom did something different and not another remake of Jurassic park.
Summary: Firstly, let me let me assure everyone that not all x-box games demonstrate the sheer lack of creative talent and failure of imagination, as is displayed within dino crisis 3. The entire premise of the "mysterious reappearance of the Ozymandias", has been lifted directly from the little known British sci-fi horror, Event Horizon.
