Destroy All Humans!

Game Over Online
26 July 2015
  • Excerpt: Destroy All Humans (DAH) is an excellent definition of a noble failure. You can tell just by watching it that Pandemic put in a lot of effort, and it is a blast for ample stretches. It could’ve been a classic though had Pandemic spent a little more time and manpower in the right places.

  • Summary: Destroy All Humans! is an excellent action-adventure title from THQ and is extremely fun to play. The game may not include a multiplayer option, but the amount of content and tasks to play create a very enjoyable game.

  • Excerpt: Literally, finishing the story missions unlocks the complete 1959 movie, which is incredible as an extra even if it falls under the category of cinema so bad, it circles back to good.

Destroy All Humans!

  • Excerpt: Unlike most games where you are fighting aliens, this game has somewhat a twist. Instead, you are a space alien called Cryptosporidium 137. During a mission to earth a fellow alien's ship flys too close to a military base and is accidently shot down during a missle test launch.

  • Excerpt: isn’t like most games because instead of playing a patriotic anti-hero / one-man army you play as the invasion forceâ€â€the aliens. Few games allow you to pick up cars from a flying saucer, swing them around and smash buildings.

Destroy All Humans!

  • Conclusion: If you ever thought it would be cool to see what things were like from the point of view of the Roswell aliens, or those mean little guys from Mars Attacks, or maybe even those uglies from Independence Day, then Destroy All Humans! is the game for you.
  • Pros: Super weapons and visual FX., Crypto’s PK powers are great fun., Beautifully presented with top voice acting and apt music.
  • Cons: Potentially panoramic views are ruined by pop up., Constantly respawning enemies and limited ammo soon annoy., The farty jet pack is a pain., Gets repetitive surprisingly quickly., No multiplayer options.

  • Conclusion: Lowdown Destroy All Humans! is a great little game from Pandemic Studios and THQ. It's addictive, humorous and easy to get into three traits that go a long way in the gaming. Even though the game is an overall success it is a little repetitive and dull even with all the destruction and giggles...
