Summary: Def jam ny is one of the best fighting games ever made simply put. To many people it redefined fighting games and was just so epic. I mean what's runner than fighting with your favorite rappers, I'll tell ya absolutely nothing and that's why I recommend def jam ny or any def jam game, because they are just pure fun especially if you have a friend over.
Summary: This installment of Def Jam was the best of the series in my opinion. The story mode and storyline were AWESOME and made you want to play more and more. The multi-player is great for gaining bragging rights over a cocky friend. The game is challenging but what else do you look for in a fighting game. I would DEFINITELY recommend this game as worth the buy!!!
Summary: this game is awesome....for what it is worth. It was easy to pick up and play. I think they should of had anything that the fighters in the game was wearing (clothes, jewlery, tatoos, hairstyles) should of been available to the created fighters. Also I think there should of been more options in creating fighters. There should of also been the chance to make female fighters, and have more females in the game to fight.
Summary: My favorite fighting game of all time ! Nice graphics, awesome gameplay, good music. This is definitely THE best fighting game in my opinion. Story mode was really fun to play through, and there are also many other play modes you can try out. I still haven't got bored of this game and never will. Oh and there are LOTS of cool real world rappers you can play as, after beating them.
Excerpt: EA and EA Canada present...DEF JAM FIGHT FOR NY. Back in 2003 EA (The Makers of Need For Speed) and Aki (Makers of WWF No Mercy for the classic N64) made Def Jam Vendetta, a game that cleverly mixed Wrestling and Hip Hop together by featuring Def Jam rappers like DMX and Ludacris. It was on the PS2 and The Gamecube but it wasn't on the Xbox even though the xbox was out and that was a dissapointment for xbox owners.
