Summary: It's not for everyone, but It's oviouse who would like it, It has violence,(it is a fighting game)It has famouse rappers like ICE-T and Snoop Dogg, You can beat the game it in a day, unlocking characters for future play, but you can make different fighters with different fighting styles, so you can play it again and again, when you got time to kill. I like it. It won't go in the pile of games I beat and never play again.
Summary: Reviewed for Big Boss Games by: P.K. The Green It's nice when a company has faith in it's unique franchises. And with a company as big as E.A., you would have faith too. I'm talking about Def Jam: Fight for NY. Boasting some of the biggest names in both hip-hop fashion and talent (who lend their voices to the game) really adds to the authenticity of the culture the game portrays. The fighting engine is easily compared to the classic wrestling titles on the N64.
Summary: I bought this for my husband and he loves it. He plays it over and over again. It has story lines and gaols to meet so even I was entertained to watch him play! It was great and a lot of fun. A game to be played agaian and again!
Conclusion: Just bought this game for £2.99 at my local games shop and wasn’t disappointed. Might be a couple of years old now, but for the price it’s an absolute gem. To start with big names galore, I’m not a hip-hop fan by any stretch of the imagination but that just makes the opportunity to beat the stars of that particular genre to a bloody pulp all the more appealing. Starting with graphics, few complaints can be made. Likenesses of all the big stars are spot on.
Summary: Classic album hands down. I got this game around the same it came out and its still fun now days. You can get something new out of it every time you play it. One of the good things, is that you can change the way you wan't your player to look etc and customize his face, eyes etc. Good option. The graphics, well i'll say for the type of game it is they are decent. Nothing good or nothing really bad. Just normal lookin graphics for Xbox.
Summary: I got this game 4 days ago and i played about 6 hours total, I beat it, but it is always fun to go back and create another story mode and beat it again. This game is a good game, especially in multiplayer, I recommend this game.
Summary: This is the most addictive game I have ever played. I've played it non-stop since it first came out in September, 2004. I also played Def Jam Vendetta before that, so I was a big fan already. It has all real rappers, actors, producers, Def Jam clothes designers and some made up characters. But where the Hell are Jay-Z and LL Cool J?!!? This game is the most addictive and frustrating game ever. That being said, don't stomp on your controller if you lose a fight.
