Conclusion: Me and my friend got this game when it first came out and it was the greatest thing ever!!! The gameplay was fun and addictive. I never got tired of hearing the F-word and the rest of the cussing was great. Lots of things to unlock and the extreme difficulty was even more challenging and fun.
Summary: This, at the end of the day is a sports game. With a twist. It is set in the future, and teams from around the world compete against each other. You start off in an arena, and the ball is a disk with a hole in the middle, this is the ball. You must grab that and throw it to your team to stop the other team getting it. To score you must chuck the disk into the hoops at either end of the pitch, of-course there a goal keeper.
Summary: This game is brilliant had it for a while now used to play it all the time with friends but now i have finished it all i tend to play other games i still give it the odd hour or 2 a week. I wish this game was more known as it is brilliant and i hope there is another Deathrow game being planned as i would like something new like this. I would Highly recomend that you give this game a go!!
Summary: ...it would have an absolutely rabid fan-base! This game combines elements of soccer, basketball, and cage-fighting into a fast and truly amusing mix that will keep you entertained for hours. Fans of the Speedball series will instantly recognise the format, and it will probably become their favorite of the "brutal future-sport" genre - topping even Speedball!
Summary: This game is similar to something called "Speedball" which came out in the 90's on the Amiga. Set in the future, it's basically a really violent sports game. The moves for beating up on the opposition are good and there is a bit of variety in the moves - you can punch, kick, jump-kick, etc. and there are some special injury moves you can pull when close enough to an opposing team's player.
Excerpt: I'm a sucker for buying crappy games. 4years ago I was pressured into buying 'Xena Warrior Princess' for the N64 by my 'friends', and reaped the rewards with the most diabolical piece of rubbish ever. Other mistakes included 'Typing of the Dead' for PC and 'Gauntlet Dark Legacy' for the Xbox. So when i saw 'Deathrow' for the Xbox i thought 'heck why not, i haven't wasted some money in a while..
