  • Excerpt: Most sports games these days are either football or basketball, throw in a small bit of soccer and baseball and you have the general sports titles. Not anymore. A group of very talented folks over at Southend Interactive have changed the genre forever. Think ultimate Frisbee meets the Osbournes in year 2030. Contrary to the title of the game Deathrow will not play your favorite Tupac songs or fry your favorite criminals in the electric chair.

  • Conclusion: Eines ist deutlich: Deathrow ist ein Hit und bringt durch seine rabiate, aber auch sehr taktische Seite, einigen frischen Wind ins Genre der Multiplayerspiele. Genauso klar ist aber auch, dass dieses Game nicht für Einzelspieler gedacht ist, denn viel zu schnell ist die „künstliche Intelligenz“ der Gegner einer einzelnen Person überlegen und man verliert den Überblick durch eine Unzahl an Einzelkämpfen.
