A Crisp, Fast Paced Fighter.

  • Summary: This is easily the best fighter ever released on the Xbox. I can argue this is one of the best fighters ever among the lines of Soul Calibur and Tekken. This has great challenge and so many unlockables you will play for hours and hours. This game is very addicting as well. Great characters, great graphics, and great game play. Get it if your a fan of fighters. Now.

Dead or Alive Ultimate Reader Review - 9.7

  • Conclusion: When you first hear about a new Dead or Alive game that is coming out, you know that it will be damn fine. And i have to say, that there is no aspect of the game that isn't worth giving under a 9.0! DOA ! Gameplay: The gameplay in Dead or Alive Ultimate is very similar to DOA 3 except for some tweaks in the moves that can be performed. However, what made me a bit mad was that there aren't any new characters that can be used in DOA Ultimate. Thats just plain inexcusable!

Project: Snowblind Reader Review - 8.0

  • Conclusion: I admit I had high hopes about this game. It was supposed to be a tactical and strategic shooter set about fourty years in the future. That's what it is, really, but I was outlining it as Halo homage, something to do if ever I got fed up of Halo 2 [which still hasn't happened] And Project Snowblind is miles away from hitting the ominous target of a game that is Halo, but it comes miles ahead of most other attempts. Want some quick and easy comparisons?

  • Conclusion: A very good and fun game to play and the controls (not vehicles) are almost as good as Halo. However I found the difficulty to easy as you can easily avoid and recover health, there are save stations everywhere, and you can over power most opposition you come across. It is by far one of the best games I played so far, but it needs to have more levels and possibly a higher difficulty.

  • Conclusion: not sure why they bother giving you the original version of DOA with this but the latest version is great. a simple beat 'em up perfect for some fun after a night out. its simple to get into (not overcomplicated like Mortal Kombat) and has great effects and sounds.

  • Conclusion: This is my first review so bear with me. Unlike most of the games I get, I bought this one because of the art and the cool weapons you got to use. Not very deep thinking there but I really was wanting a fun FPS for a change. Also, I guess it's my Star Wars geek in me, but I really dig sci-fi games. I's like dreamland to me. You have all these cool vehicles and weapons and hovering things and stuff. I get my geek on when I hear about a cool sci-fi game.

Dead or Alive Ultimate Reader Review - 9.0

T.K. Joke, IGN Entertainment

  • Conclusion: Dead or Alive Ultimate is easily the best fighting game on the Xbox. If you are a fan of fighting games, then this one is a must-own. The gameplay is great. The controls work very well and you can play it online. Some people might complain that the game is too easy, but I'm the type of person that wants to be able to play well with all the characters. I don't wanna spend 5 hours a day trying to master the game with just one character, like in Tekken or Virtua Fighter.

Spider-Man 2 Reader Review - 7.9

T.K. Joke, IGN Entertainment
10 March 2005
  • Conclusion: I've played some good and bad Spider-Man games over the years (my favorite is Maximum Carnage on Sega Genesis), and the latest one, Spider-Man 2, is pretty good. I'd rather play a Spidey game based on the 90's cartoon or the comics, but this one isn't too bad. The best part about the game is just swinging around and performing all of his stunts.

Project: Snowblind Reader Review - 7.6

SHiBBYz, IGN Entertainment

  • Conclusion: I must say that this game appears to me at least to be a very big ripoff of Red Faction 2. The characters and even some of the weapons seem to share similarities with those in Red Faction 2. These games are similar by visual aspects but when it comes down to gameplay Project Snowblind is an exercise in mediocrity.
