Summary: This is easily the best fighter ever released on the Xbox. I can argue this is one of the best fighters ever among the lines of Soul Calibur and Tekken. This has great challenge and so many unlockables you will play for hours and hours. This game is very addicting as well. Great characters, great graphics, and great game play. Get it if your a fan of fighters. Now.
Summary: The Dead or Alive series has been my favorite fighting game for over a decade. This game is a compilation of previous games from the Dead or Alive Series. What I feel makes this series unique is that it, in my opinion, tends to be less "cheap" than many other fighting games. Yes, some characters do have special, sometimes annoying, moves.
Summary: I ordered this on October 30 and it arrived 5 days earlier than it was supposed too, which is good. I used to have that game in 2004, but now that I got it again I have an Xbox 360 and since I knew it was a great game, I ordered it. Today I received the game, put the game disc in, and when it showed the "Xbox" sign it said "The region code does not match the region code on the console. Please enter a disc with the same region code". I was so disappointed!
Summary: Dead or Alive is still one of my favorite games to play because it's just so damn good. Dead or Alive 2 has solid visuals that really show the Xbox's tech at its best along with some of the sickest fighting in gaming, along with the most lucious ladies(closely followed by Rumble Roses). Dead or Alive 1 is still solid, but it's the weakest link in this awesome package. The visuals haven't been redone and the fighting still lacks.
Summary: I have the PS2 version of this game and I thought it was pretty good, not as good as Tekken but still good. What I really wanted to write was that the original DOA was released in the United States on PS1, I own it and it sucks by the way.
As good as any other top fighter, just nicer graphics.

Summary: DOA ultimate is a good fighter. It is probably third when compared to its contemporaries, Soul Calibur II and Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution. I personally feel that including DOA 1 was useless, but some people like it. If you are a fighter nut and have never tried DOA I'd say get it. All you need to remember is as soon as you open it go to the place in the manual about the counter system, and learn it well. It is the key to success.
Summary: Dead or Alive Ultimate is a compilation of Dead or Alive 1 and Dead or Alive 2, each on its own disk. Dead or Alive 1 is an exact replica of the same game that was released on the Sega Saturn so many years ago. This is a really nice treat because this might be the first time that players get the chance to play the game that started it all for this series.
Summary: Let me get one thing clear before i start,I only gave the game a 4 because I'm sick of Tecmo not putting these games in english. When you're reading subs you're missing the action in the game.Even the characters from the U.S. speak japanese. One of the main reasons why I like DOA2 on PS2 was because the character voice acting was great and it added personality to the characters.Other than that, the game is perfect. The graphics are even better than DOA3, but don't look for...
