Summary: Well, I remember this game from when i was a teenager. I say one of the best bmx games ever made. Still bmxing now after 6 years, and still going back to this game because its just amazing. Good soundtrack, and i love to ride as Slim Jim with his mad hair :)
Excerpt: Ok, I would say that this game is mainly based on the levels much more than the riders. For example the first level is the entire Camp Wood Ward! (This is a massive skate park in America.) It is a very addicting game once you start you won't want to stop.
Pros: Massive levels, and many to choose from
Cons: Can be so frustrating, you feel like throwing a hammer through the TV !
Summary: *** I bought this for the youngster but paid under a tenner when it was on offer on Amazon earlier this year and it is OK. It isn't the best but it isn't the worst - it's simple enough and worth buying. Well, certainly worth the tenner but I can't say whether I would have paid much more for it.
Excerpt: XBox is piling up the goods. This time the brand new Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 is hitting the big spot. This, as you might probably guess is a biking game. The genre this game goes under is sports, but could be further broadened to go under the category of extreme sports.
Summary: great game, but there are some let downs. the graphics are great for an early ps2 game and there are some brilliant signature moves like the flair but my personal favorite the bar-spin backflip, also you can create a park. This game is good but my let down was that there was no create a rider,i think...
Summary: Dave Mirra is a very enjoyable bmxing game. There are many parks and challenges to keep going at and the parks themselves are enormous. The graphics are good but not quite at the standards of most other ps2 games.
Summary: Very good game. Game play is similar to Tony Hawks, but with extra trick tests to gain access to other levels. The controls are a mix of Tony Hawks and SSX. The levels are big and there is plenty to do. The Variation with the tricks are good, but sometimes a little unpredictable
