CSI is an altogether terrible game, and it will definitely be enjoyable for fanatics of the TV show who feel the urge to get more “hands on” with the cases. Trying to figure out the suspect and murder weapon before the end of the show is good enough for me, since CSI Crime Scene Investigation does not include enough interesting gameplay to warrant all of the extra work. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is a very sloppy port of a much more stable PC version, and how the game managed to pass through any non-catatonic Quality Assurance team is beyond comprehension. It's a shame too, because it's a fun, low-pressure game that'd be perfect for introducing a spouse, partner or non-gamer friend to the world of Xbox. Read more

    • original cast voice their characters well, great game to just kick back with
    • truly horrific bugs & glitches that can break cases, sub-standard graphics, trial & error gameplay only annouys, tool-spamming is repetitive

Could have been so good, especially with such interesting source material, but instead it's just rubbish. Read more

it was fun as a game that your looking for forensic clues about murders and interviewing suspects and people that may have clues. finding evidence in rooms like hairs and fluids and what not that you need to look for and then properly put away and then test later in the lab. theres different tools you use for different procedures. all in all a descent game and then towards the end there is a twist in the plot too which is interesting. It&#146s not about strategy. It&#146s not about wits. It&#146s most definitely not about creativity. Read more

    • Inexpensive, easy to play
    • Time consuming, dull, no real action scenes.

Its not a bad game. As long as you make sure you the clues right the first time. Say you have to pick up a cup. Make sure you get the prints off the cup first before you actually take the cup because you can't go back or check it later. Very aggrevating going back and forth but its a strategy game so have to figure it out. Anyone have any hints let me know. Stuck on the motorcycle one at the moment. Read more

    • definitley a strategy game
    • can be very frustrating. the clues and trying to talk to the witnesses. Can get very annoying going back and for 40 million times

The aim of the game is to work with the CSI team. You are a forensic scientist starting out in the field. You have to examine the crime scene looking for clues. It is quite a good game you have to speak to suspects and use differnet equipment to gather evidence. You have to go back and forth from crime scenes, the lab and police station, Some of the evidence does not appear until you have got a clue from elsewhere which can be a bit frustrating as you have to keep going...
